We spent our family holiday at Gasperina Village in June 2026 and had an absolutely wonderful time. The location is perfect, sitting just a short five-minute walk from the beautiful Lake Garda shore. The village itself was completely spotless. We stayed in one of the self-catering rooms, which I found to be very clean. While the accommodation is basic, it was well-equipped and had absolutely everything we needed for a comfortable family stay. What truly sets this place apart is the incredible staff. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming. One lovely lady—whose name we unfortunately didn't catch—even shared her son's special birthday celebration with us. It was such a beautiful, heart-warming gesture from a really lovely family. We had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend Gasperina Village to anyone looking for a great holiday at Lake Garda!

We had a brilliant week staying at Gasparina Village. Although we booked separately, we travelled with three other families and were all placed in apartments next to each other, which worked perfectly. The kids absolutely loved the pool, and we had no issues with the local ducks! The accommodation is basic, as expected from a 3-star rating and the photos, but it was exactly what we needed. We don’t mind walking, so the location suited us well — about 25 minutes to a supermarket, 15 minutes to Gardaland, and an easy walk to a bus stop for Verona. We also enjoyed a lovely 40-minute lakeside walk to Peschiera del Garda, where we caught the ferry and visited Sirmione and Lazise — both beautiful. The food on site was good and very reasonably priced. Martina and her staff were always warm, welcoming, and accommodating. We had three SEN children in our group, and they were fantastic at catering for even the fussiest eaters without any trouble. It’s a very quiet and peaceful resort, and we always felt safe with children aged 6–14. We’re already planning to return next year as great value!

This hotel has good and bad parts! More bad than good! Pool full of duck poo, I asked staff if it was safe for children they said it had chlorine in it but we could never smell that or see staff clean it. The slide area was switched on and off and random times. Entertainment staff appeared twice and there was more life in the wasps round the pool! Rooms basic and sheets/towels changed once and had to pay for toilet roll when it ran out. Asked to change room and I’m still waiting for a response and I’m back in England. Mouldy cheese served with food at restaurant. Also approx a mile to bus stop that doesn’t appear that often! Sunbeds had no cushions and full of bird poo, Also when leaving hotel no shower room had to shower at the pool which was cold. There was many families with children with needs and they wasn’t even looked after any different! Good points The sun was hot and the wasps didn’t sting us

We stayed at this hotel from 27th September for seven nights with our 2-year-old. We booked mainly because of the pool area with a splash park and advertised kids’ entertainment. Unfortunately, there are ducks that live in the pool, and despite the staff cleaning it each morning, the amount of duck mess—especially around the toddler area—made it unusable. It was quite disappointing as this was the main reason we chose the hotel. Although we visited out of season, there were still posters displayed for mini discos and entertainment, but none of these activities took place during our stay. We had hoped for more to do with our toddler, but sadly this wasn’t the case. On a positive note, the staff were all lovely and welcoming, and we ate in the restaurant most evenings—the food was delicious. Overall, it’s a basic hotel with pleasant staff, but not ideal if you’re looking for a toddler-friendly stay.

The trip began with us arriving at the village around 1pm and hastily being checked in, however was informed the room won’t be ready until 4pm. That left us in limbo slightly but the receptionist allowed us to keep all luggage behind the desk. The first views of the village itself was very good. It seemed clean. We decided to walk to the local Migross supermarket, which is about 40mins away on foot. Once we arrived, I received a phone call to say the room was ready. We travelled with our 2 year old daughter so dinner time is normally 4pm. I knew that the buffet restaurant at the hotel didn’t open until 6pm so I asked the receptionist on the phone where the best place to eat was. She told us to head into Peschiera as most places will be open still. We didn’t listen to that advice and headed back to the hotel, picked up our cases and went to the room. Rooms are good and very basic. Just a 4 hob burner and microwave for cooking (this was outlined on the website so no surprises there. We headed down to the pool, which was open and full of ducks. The water was freezing and the water slides were switched off. I don’t think they anticipated anyone to go in so probably didn’t clean, as there were a lot of duck droppings in the pool. We did see the pool being cleaned on the Monday and the water slides were switched on (probably because it was 22 degrees that day). We decided to head to the restaurant and ask if they served chips or any lite bites. The lovely young lady said we could order from the main menu either as a take out or eat in. Why didn’t the receptionist tell us this earlier on the phone? The menu is good and has pastas, meat options and a kids menu. The only part that isn’t served until 6pm is the pizza. Located in the restaurant is a a stand with some products you can purchase - I would not call it a shop as it is described on the website. The first 2 nights were great and my daughter loved the little play area. We walked to the lake which is about a 5min walk away. However, things changed once all the students arrived on Monday. We were surrounded by over 100 students who arrived on 5 coaches. As I write this, it is 8pm and they are terrorising the outside areas: running up and down, screaming, running up the steps outside our accommodation. I am extremely disappointed that we have been positioned so close to them and that they are allowed to run riot without management intervening. The last 2 evenings have not been relaxing since 7pm and you cant even sit on the balcony without listening to the screams and loud music blaring. If I would’ve know this, I would have not purchased this holiday location. Please be mindful when booking. Gardaland is about a 15min walk down the Main Street which has no pavements, but it isn’t that busy with cars anyway. The bus stop to Verona is located directly outside Gardaland also, much more convenient then getting the train from peschiera as you will have to walk about 40mins to get to the station and the

After reading many bad reviews and doubting our choice of holiday I feel I need to write my own honest review of Gasparina Village. We had a fantastic stay at Gasparina village booked through jet2. The accommodation was basic but was very clean and had everything that we needed for our stay. The ground floor apartment was a good size for the 4 of us and we liked the large covered patio which was useful when we had a few rain showers so we could still sit outside. We booked a full board package so had breakfast and dinner include. The breakfast was great with a choice of hot buffet (bacon, egg etc), pastries, cereals, breads and yoghurts. Dinner was a hot buffet which was fine but we would probably just book bed and breakfast if we were to go again. We ate lunch at the on site restaurant a couple of times which was very reasonable priced and had some delicious pizzas. The on site shop wasn’t very well stocked so we used the camp shop on the nextdoor campsite which had a great choice of most things you would need. We loved the location being a few minutes walk to the lake where we could swim and could also take the footpath to the nearest town (around a mile). We used the ferry to get around to visit other parts of the lake which was really easy and enjoyed doing most days. There are a few nice places to stop have a drink and eat along the footpath to the town. The complex its self is very quiet, the pool is great for both young children and adults as it has the shallow play area and a deeper end around waist deep where we could swim. The only negatives we experienced was having to wait till the afternoon to check in (3pm) even though we arrived after a very early morning flight, this was never communicated to us with our jet2 booking at any point. They did allow us to store our luggage in reception while we waited. Another small thing but having to buy our own loo roll once the one in the bathroom ran out was something we haven’t experienced before on an jet2 holiday!! The crockery in the restaurant for the buffet could do with an upgrade, at breakfast they often ran out of bowls and served cereal and yoghurt in tea cups! Only small negatives after what was a great holiday. We are a family who always have taken holidays in Greece but would definitely return to Gasparina Village and Lake Garda.

The experience at GASPARINA Village was perfect. It is a quiet and extremely well kept resort at short walking distance from Lake Garda and Gardaland theme park. The self- catering accommodation is fully equipped with all the essential items you will need during your stay, and the resort’s restaurant can provide rich buffet breakfasts and dinners. The staff at reception is very professional and efficient, always happy to help with any request. We will definitely come back!

We just spent a lovely 2 weeks at this hotel - it’s been fab. It’s a really relaxed, friendly complex - well designed with lots of lovely green spaces where the kids can play. The pool is great - we travelled with a 9yr old and 15yr old who both loved it. The pool is massive relative to the size of the hotel, with LOADS of sun beds, so there is no nonsense with people putting towels down at 7am! The rooms are basic, no frills, but clean and comfortable with good outside space, we felt very at home for our 2 weeks here. The hotel is in a quiet area but there are several nice restaurants within 10-15 walk along the lake. With loads more in Peschiera - either 35 min walk or a 12-13 euro taxi ride. Fully recommend this hotel for a relaxing family self catering holiday.
