We stayed self catering with a 3 year old. The on site shop had next to nothing in it so we tended to visit the campsite shop next to the village site for supplies. There is a Lidl within 20min walking distance. The apartment was simple but adequate with a pool facing balcony. Some of the staff were very friendly and amenable, whilst others weren't. Prices were fine. Onsite childrens entertainment was very poor with staff linking up a Bluetooth speaker to their phones. Entertainment only lasted about an hour and the staff did not verbally interact with the kids, although they did dance routines for them. The atmosphere for the kids was non existent so it was hard for kids to be fully engaged. This was very disappointing for our 3 year old who just wanted to have fun! 😕 Location of the village was good, being almost on the lake edge (5 min walk) and the view of the lake is spectacular. Apart from a few small parks enroute along the lake edge and a couple of restaurants, there is nothing to occupy kids. Gardaland is a 30 min walk away and was a great experience for the little one. We would visit the village again but they would need to up their game in terms of the kids entertainment, definitely!

Just got back from a week at Gasparina Village with my husband and 13/9 year old children. The resort was clean and well looked after. The basic room was big enough for the 4 of us and served us well for the week. The pool was great and was well needed as it was unbearably hot. I would not return to this resort again for the following reasons: We were half board and the food was repetitive and not much choice. The dining area had air con but it wasn’t used so you were literally sweating as you ate. Peschiera was a 40 minute walk away, but as it was so hot, it was very hard walking in the heat. If I did return to Lake Garda I would stay somewhere where there is more shopping/evening entertainment near by,

We arrived at Gasparina approx 10pm after evening flight. Booked Jet2 package. Reception was manned by a friendly chap who gave us keys etc and directions to apartment. Apartment was lovelyy and clean. Air con worked fab. Two bedrooms. Plenty of space for our family of four. (Kids age 10 and 13). We had ground floor. Table, chairs and loungers on patio area outside which is lovely. No problems with insects or ducks or wasps at all?? We did have a praying mantis visit our patio which my daughter was fascinated with but honestly no issues with wildlife what so ever! Our two lived in the pool. I wasn't sure 13 Yr old would enjoy it as much as its quite shallow. Waist height at deepest point. But they both had a blast. Slides are fun. Lots of sunbeds. Lake is short walk. We rented a boat with slide on which was fun. We hired bikes from reception to ride up to local lidl, approx 10 mins on bike. We ended up hiring a car as it was so hot, 37 degrees, it made it hard work walking anywhere. The long driveway from the main road is narrow but it didn't cause us any worry at all. We walked to Gardaland and back which is an amazing place. Knocks the socks off Alton Towers. Didn't wait any longer that 10 minutes for any ride, even the big coasters. We went to Verona in car, found parking easy. Went to Ferrari museum also and some of the towns around the lake. Driving is easy over there. Much more laid back. We probably wouldn't go half board again. Breakfast was ok, usual coffee, juice, pastries, pancakes (which were served cold), bacon and egg. Evening meal, we ate a few times but it was a bit disappointing but we always came away full so it couldn't have been that bad!! The restaurant serves food from menu all day up till approx 10pm. We got some pizzas a few times, very reasonably priced, around 7 euros. We found the food and drink and ice creams in area all reasonably priced compared to home. Very quiet on resort. By 10pm it was always dead. Mostly young families on resort. Onsite shop had the basics, coffee, milk, bin bags, croissants, choc, pool floaties. Had a fantastic holiday. Consider a car unless you just plan on staying on resort. No entertainment but that didn't bother us as we like to go off exploring.

Stayed here as a family of 3 in July 2026. Overall a really good experience as the complex was set up for families who did not need constant entertainment and were quite happy to chill and do their own thing. The apartment was basic but clean and we never had a problem with ants or anything like that. There was no ignition on the hob and the toilet seat had been glued back together but otherwise all was good. At night we just left the doors open to let the air con circulate fully. The complex is really well laid out and the pool, although shallow, is a good size and there seemed to be plenty of sun loungers. The restaurant was lovely with the breakfast having a good selection at a good price. The main menu had really good choices and my kids loved the pizza and pasta on offer - really couldn't' fault it There is plenty do nearby with Lake Garda only a 5 minute walk away but and this was the problem for us - without a car it is difficult. The road up to the complex has not pavement and was quite long and walking with kids the cars could go by at quite a speed which made me nervous plus it is not lit at night. If you wanted to walk to Peschiera it was much better to walk along the Lake front which took about 45 minutes. Otherwise there was not a close bus stop and the supermarkets were a good 25 minute walk away - I ended up spending a lot of money on the few taxi's that seemed to be about. Also the onsite ship has very little in it and you need to go down to the campsite shop for more choice however it is expensive. Best bet is to get to Lidl or Mingoss about 25 mins walk away if you need it. Consider really carefully if you don't have a car if this is the place for you . Otherwise there are lots of paces to go including Gardaland (evening tickets were great), the Aquapark and Movieland plus a trip to Verona is only 10 minutes by train. The accommodation is basic but it is well priced and the staff are lovely - this place has given us many happy memories.

It’s a basic set up but for us that was fine. We were never going to be hanging around in the resort anyway. It was clean tidy and functional. All staff were friendly and reasonable English speakers. Due to our flight times we arrived 3 hours before check in time but that was not an issue and we were given immediate access to our apartment. The pool is pretty big but shallow. Whilst we did see ducks frequenting the pool we never saw any poo floating about or at the poolsides. Lake Garda is a short walk and was warm enough to swim in. It’s full of ducks as well but that doesn’t seem to offend anyone so I think the duck issue here is a non-issue. We booked self catering so we only used the on site restaurant a couple of times. We would say there are better and cheaper options close by. We had hired a car and it appears to be a necessity for this location. Some things are walkable but in July it was 30c plus every day and that drastically reduces how far we would want to walk. There is a laundry room and no one else seems to use it so getting our clothes washed was a quick and easy experience. The on site shop doesn’t have much and we never bought anything from it. Our apartment was north facing and that gave us an excellent view towards Monte Baldo and the alps. The view did suffer a bit from haze though. The air con worked fine and the apartment was cool enough for easy sleeping. Location with a car is excellent. Some of the best places to visit are within 20 minutes. Worth noting though that north lake Garda may only be 30-40 miles away but the roads are not the fastest and it could take 2 hours to cover that distance and there are cyclists everywhere. Based upon the price we paid to stay here then we thought it was excellent value. It’s not 5 star luxury but if you want that then triple your budget.

We spent our family holiday at Gasperina Village in June 2026 and had an absolutely wonderful time. The location is perfect, sitting just a short five-minute walk from the beautiful Lake Garda shore. The village itself was completely spotless. We stayed in one of the self-catering rooms, which I found to be very clean. While the accommodation is basic, it was well-equipped and had absolutely everything we needed for a comfortable family stay. What truly sets this place apart is the incredible staff. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming. One lovely lady—whose name we unfortunately didn't catch—even shared her son's special birthday celebration with us. It was such a beautiful, heart-warming gesture from a really lovely family. We had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend Gasperina Village to anyone looking for a great holiday at Lake Garda!

We had a brilliant week staying at Gasparina Village. Although we booked separately, we travelled with three other families and were all placed in apartments next to each other, which worked perfectly. The kids absolutely loved the pool, and we had no issues with the local ducks! The accommodation is basic, as expected from a 3-star rating and the photos, but it was exactly what we needed. We don’t mind walking, so the location suited us well — about 25 minutes to a supermarket, 15 minutes to Gardaland, and an easy walk to a bus stop for Verona. We also enjoyed a lovely 40-minute lakeside walk to Peschiera del Garda, where we caught the ferry and visited Sirmione and Lazise — both beautiful. The food on site was good and very reasonably priced. Martina and her staff were always warm, welcoming, and accommodating. We had three SEN children in our group, and they were fantastic at catering for even the fussiest eaters without any trouble. It’s a very quiet and peaceful resort, and we always felt safe with children aged 6–14. We’re already planning to return next year as great value!

This hotel has good and bad parts! More bad than good! Pool full of duck poo, I asked staff if it was safe for children they said it had chlorine in it but we could never smell that or see staff clean it. The slide area was switched on and off and random times. Entertainment staff appeared twice and there was more life in the wasps round the pool! Rooms basic and sheets/towels changed once and had to pay for toilet roll when it ran out. Asked to change room and I’m still waiting for a response and I’m back in England. Mouldy cheese served with food at restaurant. Also approx a mile to bus stop that doesn’t appear that often! Sunbeds had no cushions and full of bird poo, Also when leaving hotel no shower room had to shower at the pool which was cold. There was many families with children with needs and they wasn’t even looked after any different! Good points The sun was hot and the wasps didn’t sting us
