Shanghai Jinjiang Metropolo East Nanjing Road Hotel，Off Bund

It is my second visit to Shanghai, and second stay at this small and beautiful hotel just in the heart of the city. Very clean textiles in my room. Very careful and exact cleaning. Absolutely all I needed for the comfortable living here: cosmetics, pot, cups, tea, loads of water, hair dryer. Breakfast is good but I haven't found enough food for people who can't eat fat and fried, just fruits and pork. But still the place is my favourite.

Clean hotel next to the bund, literally within walking distance. Got a room with balcony with the Pearl in view. It does get very popular and crowded on most day and nights on Nanjing East Road so please be aware of noise level and the big crowds. Lots of shops and eateries around this area, so lots to buy. The only issue is that it is within the walking path area, so Didi will need to drop you off at the next street and can’t park directly in front of the hotel.

Excellent service We are senior citizens, the hotel arranged a porter to carry our luggage to take a ride to Sun island, Shanghai. It is very near the Bund.

City StayCation Just a random weekend to get a couple appointments done in the city, this hotel has the best price in the tourist area for anyone wanting to have fun. Easy to cross the River by ferry (inexpensive) or tunnel (80 RMB). There are restaurants inside the hotel, and it’s maintained quite well, considering that the overall decor is somewhat vintage. The higher floors will give more quiet time. Really comfortable sleeping. I decided not to eat breakfast. The shops on the walkway are more expensive, but it’s still fun to splurge or Just explore. Two really good jazz clubs within walking distance and although traffic does get backed up, being prepared with the proper shoes is helpful . Staff is friendly and attentive. A note about the rooms is that the air conditioner might face the bed. There were not signs of allergens when the temperature is set reasonably. Bathrobes are not part of the room amenities. Everything else was great. The bathtub, bath, salt, steam, masks, and utilities were perfect.

I asked for a quiet room because I didn't want to hear the incessant motorbike beeping. We were put at the back of the hotel so apart from some air con unit noise outside, it was very quiet. The location is excellent for the Bund, shopping, line 2 on the metro which is about a 10 minute walk away. The room was big, with a bath and shower, lots of consumables like water, some free soft drinks, tea, coffee etc but bring your own toothbrush. The wifi was not very good at all. Would stay here again, and recommend. The toilet door didnt close fully so needs fixing. Free heated eye masks every day were a nice touch and you can take lots of free bottled water from the lift area.

No direct access for drop off, needs to walk about 100m or so from any accessible path by car. Stunning views from balcony, everything you need just around the corner

This was the hotel I stayed at before returning home. It is located on Nanjing East Road, making it very convenient and easily accessible, with a subway station nearby. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was clean and pleasant, making for a very enjoyable stay.
