City Hotel Krabi

I was in the renovated part (or what I think is the newer part of the hotel), and everything was good - the bed is comfortable, the bathroom is new, very clean. The air con is a bit strong,and yet you can't go without at night. There is no wifi in the room, which I think should be the norm, and they don't have laundry facilities (even though it's indicated in the listing). But there is a great launderette across the street. It's on a busy street, quite loud. Easy to catch songahawes to beaches from here.

Excellent hotel. Super clean. Firm nice king bed , tv and small fridge, centralised Aircon, suoer clean bathroom & toilet with bidet. Super strong shower with good hot water Room felt fresh and no unpleasant odours. Location perfect in the middle of town 711 downstairs, mall nextdoor, food outlets all around and nightnarket a stone throw away The current reviews & pictures doesn't do justice for this hotel because at this price point it is Super Value for money Will definitely stay again when in Keabi Town Only thing i didn't like was the reception. If they improve that this hotel would be 100%. Now it's 95

Positive things about stay are LOCATION(heart of Krabi Town), close to few night markets and tasty food. Staff is helpful. Bed comfortable. AC does the job(too loud fo sleeping time though). They provide 2 bottles of water per day, 7-eleven next to hotel. Negative: - WiFi you need to login multiple times per day and quality is poor - No real bedsheet- duvet without cover, under and above something like a flat sheet - Housekeeping from 7 a.m very loud - Lack of Smart TV - only cable channels Overall 3/5

I had a pleasant stay at City Hotel Krabi. The location is very convenient, especially for exploring the town and visiting the nearby night market. The room was clean, comfortable, and suitable for a short stay. The staff were friendly and helpful whenever we needed assistance. Overall, it’s a good and affordable option if you are visiting Krabi.

The hotel itself was ok for the price. For people on a limited budget and with expectations to match budget travel it was ok. The shower was excellent (power/temperature and controls) even though the space was tight - it was in full spray of the toilet. There are cheap eats at the night market opposite and there is a 7/11 supermarket next door. The main problem is Krabi Town - it is very quiet indeed and after a couple of days the interest has run dry. We were put off by reports of Ao Nang but honestly, it would have been better for us there - much livelier and without being 'too lively'.
