For families with two kids, the fun and comfort a hotel offers are especially important. Choosing Jian Shan Jie Lu was a smart decision! I wanted two adjoining rooms, and the owner even upgraded us. The entire hotel has a Japanese style, so the environment is serene and clean, full of lush greenery, with trumpet vines blooming all along the paths. The hotel is built in a converted village industrial park. We spent a whole afternoon strolling around the village with the kids, taking photos of the heart-shaped tree and catching all sorts of insects. The owner was also very enthusiastic and let us visit her small vegetable garden, which had natural cucumbers, eggplants, chili peppers, and loofahs. The kids were incredibly happy eating the cucumbers, even with just a quick wipe. In the evening, we went to the hotel's Japanese restaurant; the ingredients were very fresh, and the salmon belly was outstanding. Back in the room, it was time for the hot tub! It wasn't crowded even with two adults and two kids, and the children didn't want to get out. We'd love to come back again.

My husband booked this hotel for our local trip. The environment is elegant and serene, with lush bamboo groves and various flowers. What I loved most was the peaceful atmosphere, a quiet oasis away from the hustle and bustle. The hotel's Japanese cuisine was also excellent, with a wide variety of dishes that satisfied all our breakfast, lunch, and dinner needs. Absolutely fantastic, definitely a top recommendation!

The environment is excellent, very clean and hygienic, and the service is outstanding. The breakfast spread is also fantastic! I had a very comfortable stay. I'll definitely be back! They even provided welcome fruit upon check-in, along with scented bubble bath bombs and rose petals for the hot tub. So thoughtful!

After our May Day trip to Dongying and Weifang, we passed through Zhangqiu on our way back to Shanxi. We found this unique B&B online and were quite taken by it. Overall, the B&B has a lot of character. Our family of six booked two rooms, and they thoughtfully placed us in the same courtyard. The courtyard is beautiful, with a camping table and a rocking chair. The rooms are Japanese-style with a balcony, offering lovely views of the stream and flowers – truly a secluded retreat away from the city. The kids absolutely loved it. The breakfast was simple but well-balanced and nutritious; the 'nine-grid' breakfast was quite novel. The room also had a small tub for soaking, though we weren't sure if it was a hot spring; it didn't quite feel like one. As for drawbacks, the room was a bit small, and there was no table or cabinet for placing items (aside from a wardrobe for hanging clothes), so there wasn't much space for other odds and ends. Luckily, we didn't have too many things. The toilet was electric. It's a very poetic place, and if the price is right, I highly recommend staying here.

The room looks exactly like the pictures online. The environment is beautiful, and the cleanliness inside is impeccable – spotless. The facilities are smart and modern, and the host is warm and thoughtful. Traveling at this time of year is so refreshing; the temperature is just right. Superb!
