Holiday Inn West Yellowstone, an IHG Hotel

Excellent! Very clean, comfortable environment, and a great price.

The service was excellent, and the breakfast had a great variety. They were also very welcoming to children. I'm looking forward to staying here again next time I visit Yellowstone. The location is perfect, just a few minutes' drive from the West Entrance of Yellowstone National Park, and there are plenty of restaurants and gas stations nearby.

This is probably the most modern and upscale hotel in West Yellowstone; the others are just motels. The rooms are large, but the facilities are older. I strongly recommend bringing your own hair dryer when visiting the US. Here, no matter how expensive the hotel, the hair dryers are small and old, and it feels like they're just trying to compromise on quality. The most incomprehensible thing about this hotel is that they charge a $15 per person surcharge, claiming it's for free hot water, popsicles, and cookies on the first floor (all of which are awful, cheap stuff). If it's free, why charge? And you can't even choose not to. Isn't that blatant robbery? Just compare it to the free fruit and candy offered at Four Seasons hotels in China. The difference is huge!

This was the most expensive hotel on our Yellowstone trip, which was normal given the high season. The hotel has a great location, free parking, spacious rooms, clean beds, a good bathroom, and hot water in the lobby. We arrived late and got a room on the far west side, which was relatively quiet.

Yellowstone is a small town within easy walking distance. The hotel is located on the edge of town and is very quiet. Free coffee, snacks, and hot water are available downstairs. The room was large, clean, and tidy, with a comfortable mattress. Restaurants and shopping are all within easy walking distance. I stayed there for four nights, driving to Yellowstone Park around 9 a.m. each day and returning to the hotel around 8 p.m. before going out to eat, as it doesn't get dark until around 9 p.m. Overall, I had a good experience.

It is a relatively large hotel in its category, with a dedicated restaurant, game room, and plenty of seating in the public area. Drinking water is available in the corridor on the first floor.

The hotel in the town of West Yellowstone has a good breakfast, but there are many places to eat in the town. You don't have to buy breakfast and go to the town restaurant to eat. I stayed at Old Faithful and Yellowstone Lake Hotel for two nights in the park.
