Staying at the JW Marriott Chengdu Maoye this time was a truly special experience. Upon check-in, I happened upon a staff event, and the atmosphere was relaxed and lively. Everyone was orderly and full of energy, and you could really feel the harmonious vibe among the hotel team. The room was clean and tidy, spacious and airy. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, allowing for a peaceful rest even in the bustling city center. The Mianyang rice noodles and porridge at breakfast were delicious. Celine was warm and considerate, and Maria was professional and thoughtful. The hotel's location is excellent, and the service throughout was attentive and polite, with prompt responses. The hardware facilities are well-maintained. It’s perfect for both sightseeing and short stays. Overall, the stay exceeded expectations, and the service had a personal touch.

My stay at JW Marriott Hotel Chengdu was fantastic! I have to give a special shout-out to Michelle from Guest Relations. From the pre-arrival communication to the thoughtful follow-ups during my stay, she was incredibly dedicated throughout. Any issues I had were addressed quickly; she was attentive and kind, making me feel truly valued. The hotel breakfast was a pleasant surprise – I saw the general manager personally making latte art coffee, and I enjoyed authentic Sichuan noodles, various congees, and other snacks which are definitely worth trying. The hotel also has a Sky Garden on the 8th floor where I even encountered some cute cats. Turndown service included a thoughtful chocolate treat, and I appreciate that the mini-bar drinks were complimentary. I also got to try a unique welcome tea during check-in. The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Tianfu Square, making it very convenient for getting around and exploring dining options. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I return to Chengdu. A big thank you again to Michelle for her dedicated care!

Traveling solo, I stayed at the JW Marriott for three nights and extended for an additional night. I have to say, the service at JW Marriott is what impressed me the most. Harriet from the staff added me on WeChat the day before to ask about my check-in needs, greeted me on the 8th floor, and checked in with me daily. All the hotel staff were professional, enthusiastic, and attentive. The breakfast and executive lounge food were also top-notch – not only a wide variety but also delicious. I'll definitely choose JW Marriott again next time I'm in Chengdu.

I was upgraded to an executive suite, which was spacious, had comfortable bedding, and a clean room. Some of the facilities were a bit old (the sink drained slowly, and the central air conditioning was quite noisy). Regarding service, the front desk informed me that a butler would add me on WeChat, but this never happened, and I'm not sure why. I requested a bathtub liner, and the staff member who delivered the welcome fruit might have forgotten, but after a quick call to the front desk, it was delivered promptly. As it was my first stay, and JW hotels are generally considered relatively high-end, these service flaws stood out. Overall, it was still quite comfortable. The breakfast was decent.

Whether it was the front desk, concierge, or room service, genuine care was evident in every detail, with many small requests handled thoughtfully and meticulously. This truly demonstrated their attentive and considerate service. The room experience was also remarkable; Manager Helena informed me upon check-in that all mini-bar drinks were complimentary. The turndown service was quite ceremonial, thoughtfully including chocolates. Returning to the room, I could fully relax and recuperate; the room maintenance was excellent, and the living environment was comfortable. The gym and pool facilities were well-equipped, providing a great experience. The dining options were extensive, offering a rich variety that balanced Western and Chinese cuisine, featuring chef-selected congee, a complete selection of hot dishes, and desserts. The dining experience was excellent and highly recommended.

The 8th-floor 'Shuyuan' (Vegetable Garden) was a unique and lovely spot. With the afternoon sun streaming in, it was the perfect place to relax, have a drink, watch the cats, and escape the city's hustle and bustle. The room's amenities were well-maintained, and housekeeping was meticulous. Our personal butler was very attentive, proactively sharing local tips and offering assistance, patiently answering any questions we had. Overall, our experience was fantastic – a truly top-tier stay! 👍

Our summer trip to the JW Marriott Hotel Chengdu exceeded our expectations. Since it's peak season, it was quite crowded, and we arrived early. Celine and Ella from the staff were incredibly helpful, actively assisting us with coordination, responding promptly, and communicating patiently, which solved a lot of our issues. The hotel's location is superb, close to Chunxi Road and Taikoo Li, making it very convenient for shopping and getting around. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was very comfortable, and the facilities were well-maintained. The service throughout our stay was meticulous and thoughtful, ensuring a comfortable and reassuring experience. This will be our top choice when visiting Chengdu again!

The hotel's location is excellent, making transportation very convenient. The hotel is clean and hygienic, with a good range of facilities overall. However, the electronic scale in the room had some issues. Also, during my stay, there was a wedding party in the morning which was quite noisy. Furthermore, I had redeemed welcome fruits when booking, but they were never delivered even by check-out. This level of service definitely needs improvement.
