Excellent resort in Wadi Rum! New, or at least it seemed that way. Comfortable rooms, a pool, and clean! The only slight downside is the buffet, which, while good, gets cold quickly if left on the table.

We spent one night at the Palmer’s camp and it was fantastic. 20 jeep ride from Wadi Rum Visitors center to the camp. Tourism is down in Jordan and we weee there with one other couple with whom we were traveling. Yes, you are served a lot of food. You can tell by the dining room that it was designed to feed guests with a buffet, but there are not enough guests to warrant that presentation. The staff wants you to experience the wide array of cuisine and you receive many courses. I, too, felt guilty not eating all of the food, but appreciated the opportunity to try them. We also did the jeep tour and camel ride. Both of those experiences were fantastic. I would definitely come back to this camp.

My wife and i spent one night at the Palmera. We had the sultan luxury tent and it was great : lots of room, private bathroom and shower. Due to the off-season, the camp was not crowded, in fact only 3 other couples were onsite with us a the time so it was quiet and laid back. The camp offers exceptional amenities in a stunning setting. One thing disappointed us, : At every meal, all the available food in the kitchen is served at your table. You do not choose. We told the waiter that we had already to much food but he did not listen and we ended up with about 20 plates on our table. This seems to be a common practice because the couples next to us complained for the same reason. It's impossible to eat the amount of food we've been given. I'm not certain what really happens to all the leftovers, but one thing is certain ' I am paying the bill in the end and it's a waste of MY money.

Staff outstanding! From beginning to end amazing service! Falah greeted us and arranged a camel ride before checking in. Fabulous accommodation and service at cafe with refreshments and scheduled sunset jeep tour! Then a delicious dinner cooked perfectly in ground with all kinds of salads desserts and tender ribs and chicken ! Beautiful night sky’s after dinner and a restful sleep. Wonderful all around!!

The location around 25 minutes from Wadi Rum town is great and our superior tent (Bedouin style) was comfortable, but they need to keep an eye on standards. Our terrace had two very uncomfortable stools to sit on and no chairs which did not make for a relaxing stay. We would have sat by the pool but the music was so loud it was deafening (even from our tent), not great when this is supposed to be a relaxing stay in the desert. The restaurant/lounge area was lovely whilst the food offering was fine, when it arrived. Dinner was supposed to be at 2000, we all waited and waited, it eventually arrived at 2055. Breakfast the next day was supposed to start at 0700, they started serving at 0800! Once the food had run out it wasn't replenished. Although, it was noted on booking, re checked and mentioned on arrival, we are not sure they realised what gluten free meant, there was very little suitable for me to eat, especially at breakfast, they kept offering me croissants and bread!. Also all drinks including water, coffee and tea were not included. We felt this camp was overpriced for what we received. Should we return to the area, we would stay at another camp.

We stayed overnight at the Dome Tent in Palmera Luxury Camp – a truly stunning location with excellent staff and a perfect balance of comfort and authenticity. The experience felt luxurious in the best possible way, while actually enhancing the desert atmosphere rather than making it feel less authentic.

The most amazing place we have stayed. Absolutely stunning, from the pods and the pool to the food - cannot fault it at all. Thank you so much to all the staff, especially Jalal for making our stay so memorable and going out of his way for us. We cannot wait to return next year InshaAllah.
