Surfsand Resort

The rooms were well stocked with bedding and towels, there were three girls in our party who never ran out of anything! The staff was ready to take care of our every desire. Be sure to book your beach fire and s’mores the day before, they are very busy.

After having a bad experience with an air, BNB and how the place wasn’t cleaned thoroughly. We thought this time we would use a hotel because they probably have higher cleaning standards. After arriving and checking in going to our hotel room and being in there for a few minutes we started to notice dog hair all over our kids that were sitting on the couch and after noticing, looking around seeing that, there was dog hair everywhere, even in the refrigerator. When I brought it to their attention they said they would have somebody clean our room. Even after them cleaning, there was still traces of dog hair. Then after that point we started a question how clean everything else was, which didn’t give us a good feeling. We also had a moment where the housekeeping ladies walked into our room without knocking or announcing themselves when we checked out and they asked how the day was we just got the basic apologies. No message from the manager no follow up. Just a “sorry about that.”

Beautiful facility and property in Cannon Beach. Our room had an incredible view of the beach. Lots to do nearby. Excellent restaurant. Highly recommend.

The property was easy to find and I felt very welcomed as I checked in, I got offered a fresh cookie and cold beverage. Check in was easy, she also gave me a map showing exactly where our room was located. The room was clean, comfortable and the view was amazing. I definitely appreciated the slippers and robe as well!

I don’t ever leave reviews, but I had to for Surfsand Resort. We loved this place! The views were phenomenal, the check-in was amazing (beers for the adults; cookies and ice cream for the kiddo), the staff was always friendly and helpful. We will be back!

The description of the room said little to no view. We actually had a perfect view of Haystack Rock. The room was clean, modern, had a porch with chairs. Would definitely tell anyone going to Cannon Beach to stay there.

Room was rently renovated. The update was excellent. Only shortcoming was the tv kept losing signal and the little wheel would spin and spin.

We loved everything abput Surf Sand from the bunnies on the Beach to the fitness center.
