First off, let's talk about the location. It's right in the city center, which makes getting anywhere super convenient. The Drum Tower is right outside, and there's a direct shuttle to the Terracotta Army. Plus, subway stations to various places are easily accessible. You can even see the Bell Tower from the opposite Kaiyuan Mall, and there are travel photography studios right outside the hotel entrance – couldn't be handier. I was initially worried that the Muslim Quarter would be super noisy, but to my surprise, once I was in the room, I could barely hear any of the hustle and bustle outside.
Next up, the hotel itself. There's a platform on the 3rd floor where you can relax, right next to the Drum Tower. The staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful, always smiling. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options. The room features smart home controls throughout, which was very convenient, and food deliveries were brought up by a robot. A really great touch was having a place to hang laundry, like socks and underwear – they dried overnight!
The only minor thing is that I booked a king-sized room, and the space for moving around wasn't huge. However, we were out and about all day, basically just coming back to shower and sleep. It was perfectly fine even with one child. For a prime city-center location where space is at a premium, overall, I'm quite satisfied.
