Chongqing Nanzhong Hot Spring Hotel

Instead of traveling far during the National Day holiday, we opted for the South Hot Spring Hotel. The kids absolutely loved the hot spring pools within the hotel, and they're genuinely fed by natural hot spring water! It was fantastic! Breakfast was also very generous! The front desk staff member, Xiaojia, was incredibly friendly and accommodating; she met all our reasonable requests! We'll definitely be back for our next vacation!

The in-room hot spring was fantastic, and the kids loved playing in the water, so this was the perfect choice. Plus, the hot spring water was available 24 hours a day. The breakfast was also good, and we could also take a cable car and zipline nearby, making it a great option for a day trip with the kids.

If you like quiet places, August at South Hot Spring is a great choice! We left after work on Friday and arrived quite late. There's an underground garage, and you can also park on the surface, right at the lobby entrance. Front desk staffer Xiao Zhang provided excellent service, promptly helping us with any issues. 👍 Our room had a private hot spring, and we chose a king-size bed room. The overall room size was a bit smaller than I expected, but it had all the amenities. I personally felt the bedding was a bit damp, and the room was stuffy when we first entered. The air conditioning worked well, though it was quite loud, as it's a bit old. The room also came stocked with potato chips, instant coffee, tea bags, soda, and mineral water, and they thoughtfully provided mosquito repellent. There were helpful notices posted in various places in the bathroom, showing good attention to detail. Aside from a few too-few outlets and the room being small and compact, I think it's still quite good.

The hotel has its own parking, which is very convenient. The breakfast is good, and the rooms are spacious, each with a small hot tub, perfect for kids to splash around in. Xiao Zhang at the front desk was very helpful and provided excellent service, reminding us to scan the QR code before leaving. The jungle coaster nearby is also a lot of fun. Overall, it's highly recommended for a two-day, one-night trip with kids.
