Hotel Palacio de Samaniego

Excellent in all respects - the room, the food, the service. We loved the art. Bar and common areas are lovely. The breakfast was outstanding. The room and bath were bright, beautifully designed, really lovely. Wonderful for a romantic stay.

A wonderful boutique hotel of 9 suites which were individually crafted with collections of art. The staff were so helpful and the food to die for. The beakfasts included spanish and european dishes to cater for all tastes. The dinners were so impressive with 5 star dishes. Definitely a place to stay if visiting Rioja.

Amazing!! This is one of the nicest hotels I have visited. It was my birthday and we had the dinner at the hotel. The quality of everything was just outstanding!

Amazing property and an even better staff. We stayed for three nights and enjoyed a mix of visiting wineries in the area and relaxing on the property. There are only 9 rooms so it never feels very busy. We were often alone on the grounds.

Absolutely fantastic from the moment we booked all the way until after we checked out, when the team kindly stored our luggage and gave us a walking route Maxi and the team go above and beyond all the time, offering to arrange wine tasting, provide guides of where to visit, arranging very kind and subtle birthday messages for my other half. The rooms are elegant, spotless, and spacious with fantastic art that the staff are keen to tell you about. The kitchen! If you enjoy food this is the place for you - the tasting menu is one of the best we’ve ever had, every course was explained and the dishes presented beautifully. We wish we were there for longer!
