Ascott Star KLCC Kuala Lumpur

The location is excellent, right in the city center. The view from the room window is just ordinary high-rises, but the view from the bathroom window is of the Petronas Towers 👍. The room has everything you need: toiletries, slippers, iron, ironing board, washing machine + detergent pod, tea, dishes, and a safe. The outlets aren't European, but they worked. The rooftop pool with a view of the Petronas Towers was open, even though there was a notice in the room stating it would be closed for maintenance during our dates – we were quite disappointed. But we went up to check, and the pool was open! 🎉 I recommend this hotel.

The hotel's location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk from KLCC and the Petronas Twin Towers. The apartment is well-equipped and very new. My family was very satisfied and said they would stay here again on their next trip to Kuala Lumpur.

Room cleanliness scored 9 out of 10. Service was perfect, full marks. Facilities received a 9.5. When it comes to serviced apartments, Ascott is always my first choice. I can pretty much blind-book it without any worries, it's a reliable pick.

Highly, highly recommend! The room was cleaned spotlessly every day, and the housekeeping staff were very polite and respectful of our belongings. The hotel is less than a 10-minute walk from the Petronas Twin Towers, and there are supermarkets and durian stalls nearby, which is super convenient. You can also take great photos on the rooftop. The large swimming pool on the sixth floor is a big plus. Seriously, I can't recommend this place enough!

Extremely comfortable, just like coming home. Everything you need is there, making it very cozy and reassuring. The price is very reasonable. There's a beautiful night view bar on the 99th floor, offering the best views of Wujia. Both the food and drinks are great. You can see the Twin Towers right in front of you. It's fantastic!

The hotel's location is superb! You can walk to KLCC and even take a covered walkway directly to Pavilion. For the Sunset Rollercoaster, you can alight at the KLCC station or walk there. Given the usual traffic congestion in Kuala Lumpur, staying at this hotel means you can pretty much sort out all your dining, accommodation, and transportation needs in one go. The hotel's cleanliness and service are good, and breakfast is decent – not as bad as some online reviews suggest, haha.

The hotel is a 5-8 minute walk from the Petronas Twin Towers, Suria KLCC, and KLCC Park. It's also close to Avenue K mall, with plenty of dining and convenience store options downstairs. Ampang Park LRT station is about 600 meters away, making public transportation easily accessible. A short taxi ride will get you to Pavilion, placing it right in the KLCC Golden Triangle.

Environment: Superb, perfect for couples. For the same price, you'd only get a tiny single room in Singapore 🥹 (currently squeezed into a small single in Singapore). Facilities: The pool on the 99th floor is beautiful, but note that it's not an infinity pool. Hygiene: Spotlessly clean, no complaints.

The room is considered large for a city center location. We booked an executive room, which was relatively quiet. It came with a fully equipped kitchen, including a microwave and oven combo. You can see the Petronas Twin Towers right from downstairs, making it very convenient for getting around. The bedding was very soft and comfortable; I slept soundly. We stayed for three nights, and on one night, there was a leak in the ceiling. We called the front desk, and someone came to fix it immediately, which was very fast. Overall, the stay was great, and there's also a pool, both an infinity pool and a regular one.
