Radisson Blu Hotel Shanghai New World

●good place● -close to downtown, good park view -good swimming pool, spa for men -next to 신세계 department -metro 1, 2, 10 -normal breakfast, not kind staff

I stayed in this hotel for 2 days it was amazing days defined will back again ❤️💕💕😋 there were staff so nice ❤️💕💕💕💕helpful , her name is Sunny  Yu JIng we love her she make her job very fast and helpful , like this staffs make us happy and like we will back to our family feeling.

THE HOTEL DECO MIGHT BE SLIGHTLY OLD BUT IT IS MAJESTIC. STAYED IN BUSINESS SUITE. STAFF ARE PROFESSIONAL. THEY PROVIDE FREE CHOC AND FRUITS. CLEANLINESS IS SUPERB. BREAKFAST CHOICE IS EXCELLENT, JUST VERY PACK, WHICH MEANING THE HOTEL IS WELL ACCEPTED BY TRAVELERS. MY ROOM DOOR LOCK WAS SLIGHTLY SPOILT. THEY RECTIFIED IT IMMEDIATELY. THE VIEW FROM MY ROOM WAS FANTASTIC, LARGE GREENARY. OVERALL IT IS A VERY PLEASANT STAY. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

It’s a great hotel for a couple nights’ stay. Although it feels somewhat dated (it really shows in such a hi-tech city as Shanghai) and the public spaces are cramped (the gym gives claustrophobic vibes when there are more than 5 people in it), especially considering the size of the building and number of rooms - it may suit well for a conservative traveller, or if you have to stay in this particular area, or simply if you enjoy being among European/South American tourists (I got an impression that locals don’t stay here). In a nutshell, the location is unbeatable, the breakfasts were good (half of dishes were westernized), staff speaks English and is helpful, the view from my room was breathtaking, nights were quiet. Some fresh towels were still stained, tho. Not good.

For a Radisson brand hotel with those prices, the room is VERY poorly appointed, even though I was assigned the cheapest room. Old carpets, a TV the size of a computer monitor, and an incredibly old and dirty curtain. The only good thing is its proximity to the Metro station, but I’d rather walk two blocks and stay at the Conrad, Holiday Inn, or Crowne Plaza for a similar price. I travel every year, but this is my last time staying at this hotel.

Great location, just right next to subway, starbuck and new world department store...Also park in front of the hotel is so lovely. Staff name Harley at check-in counter was very helpful, others too...Nice view from the room (city tower) 🙏👍👍
