Sitka Hotel and Restaurant

The room was fine; decent size and clean. There were no wash cloths, no chairs in the room and the tv didn’t work. The Internet stopped working the night we checked in.

Old hotel with lots of character. Great location! Nice sized room. Informative staff! Easy elevator to get big suitcases in and out. Fun community to walk around. Their Italian restaurant is the Best. Breakfast down the street 3 doors is great, check out the “Mean Queen”. Would stay again!!

We stayed in the penthouse. It had great views. The room was quiet, large, and comfortable. The restaurant had a good menu. It was very relaxing after traveling all day.

We’ve used more than one room during our stay. My favorite stove top is actually a convection hot plate. It was easy to use and heated up fast. The shower in the second room (2 queen beds and a fold out/couch) has a stone floor and tile walls. It also has one of those square “rain” showers. The desk staff are all very pleasant people. My only complaint is the cleaning people could be more thorough. They cut corners to get out of the rooms fast and it shows. (I found items left behind by previous occupants)

The kitchen had almost everything I needed including a tiny dishwasher. The few items that were missing were quickly replaced when I asked at the desk. The room had a lot of space and we didn’t hear other people thru the walls. Staff are all helpful and friendly. The beds are also remarkably comfortable and I typically do not sleep well in hotel beds.

We love this historic hotel. It is always clean and tidy and the staff members are always so friendly and helpful. It's a great place to stay to be close to the harbor and downtown Sitka.

The Hotel was passable, but every day you advertise on FOX News you diminish your brand.

Very good restaurant attached to the hotel. A bit expensive, but very good quality food.

Did not get the type room I booked (booked a queen delux got a standard with a full bed), walls were paper thin, only half the buttons on the TV remote worked and only a few channels worked. Front desk attitude was "oh well, what are you gonna do." Housekeeping did not service the room.
