We booked this hotel as part of our 40th Wedding Anniversary celebrations and received a very nice message from the hotel congratulating us and thanking us for choosing to stay there for such a special occasion. The day we arrived the on line rate was€100 less than what we had paid several weeks earlier. Our room was “standard” and there was a “Dear Guest” welcome note? They knew our names so why “Dear Guest”. Nice message, no amenities. Our introduction to the hotel was quite uninspiring despite a visually beautiful property with a long history. Beds were ok . Pillows poor. Little ir no information about the hotel in the room. Dinner was very ordinary. Employees were friendly but nobody had bothered to tell them that we were celebrating a special occasion. Food was ok but presentation very average. Breakfast was perhaps the highlight With a good offering and very friendly & helpful service personnel. This is not a “ small luxury hotel” by any means as there is no attention to detail And a certain lack of hospitality.

Our stay at Hotel Casa Pamela was absolutely wonderful and exceeded all expectations. The hospitality was outstanding and made us feel genuinely welcome. A special thank you to Carolina, who was incredibly kind and helpful during the booking process. Her prompt communication, warmth, and attention to detail made everything easy and stress-free before we had even arrived. It is rare to receive such personal and caring support, and it was greatly appreciated. The room was in keeping with the hotel but felt modern, spacious, clean and had good aircon in the bedrooms for a peaceful nights sleep. The breakfast buffet offered plenty of different options. As it was a last minute visit, we didn't budget for the 3 course meal, they offered on one of the nights. Tuesdays and Thursdays they have live music and singer. We would also like to thank Diogo for his excellent recommendations on places to visit in the area. Some of the most beautiful beaches are only about a 10-minute drive away, with Praia da Figueirinha being especially easy to visit with children. Setúbal is also close by and offers some fantastic places to eat, including Sem Horas and Han Table, both of which we thoroughly enjoyed. The hotel itself is charming, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, with a peaceful atmosphere that made it easy to unwind. What impressed us even more was how family-friendly it is. The pool was a huge highlight and kept the children happy for hours every day, giving the whole family plenty of time to relax and enjoy our holiday. The hotel and surroundings are very quiet but we didn't feel uncomfortable making a bit more noise and a splash in the family pool area. The setting is truly spectacular. Surrounded by a beautiful vineyard and rolling hills, the hotel enjoys a breathtaking backdrop that makes it feel both tranquil and unique. We left Hotel Casa Pamela with wonderful memories and would not hesitate to return. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming, well-run hotel with exceptional service, genuinely caring staff, and a stunning location. Thank you again!

The setting is not only calming but, since it is within a national park, beautiful as far as one can see. Nothing but vineyards, cork oaks, and mountains. The service was friendly and personal, the food excellent, and the Port tonics perfect. The tiny ancient family chapel, the two pools, our private veranda, and the salmon tartare made our stay my favourite in Portugal.

Hotel Casa Pamela was a true treat. Amazing location surrounded by vineyards and forests, and close to the beach. The staff was warm and helpful. Our room was fabulous!

It was the most wonderful experience staying at Casa Palmela. The space is so special, and it really felt like we were staying at a friends house. The food was delicious also. Very comfy bed and great amenities in the room. Stand out for us was the warm welcome we received from Rita on the front desk.

Room was really too small (and it was a superior ) . No minibar, no places for luggages. Bathroom really small as well. Restaurant very good. I think it is over rated

A wonderful experience! The staff is really kind and helpful. The suround is unique: vineyards, trees and gardens very well kept. The rooms are really cozy and confortable. The restaurant is highly recomended too.

Lovely rooms, setting and atmosphere. Great to have a glass of local wine and look out over the vineyards and national park
