Kyoto Great Hotel

This hotel is absolutely beautiful, with a lovely Japanese-inspired design. It's located near the back gate of Chiang Mai University, making it super convenient to walk to the night market there. The hotel is set back from the main road, so it's generally very quiet. Even though the water pump was quite noisy at night, the staff were really proactive and helpful in trying to resolve the issue.

The hotel is an 8/10, but for this price, it's a perfect score! 1. It's quiet. Even though the hotel room door isn't soundproof, the location is great. My second-floor room was very quiet, apart from the occasional dog barking and laughter from the pool. 2. Excellent location, just a 2-minute walk from the Chiang Mai back gate night market. 3. The room is good. The only minor drawback is the poorly designed bathroom door, but for this price, it's not a big deal. 4. The service was excellent; a staff member at the pool proactively helped me with towels. However, they need to pay more attention to room cleaning. You need to hang the 'make up my room' sign before 2 PM. The cleaner also didn't take the 20 baht I left on the bed.

The room was great, the price was right, and it was very clean with good service. I'll definitely be back next time! You can also swim, which is perfect for couples or families. I really, really loved it!

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the university and right by the night market. As soon as you step out, there's a whole street full of food. The rooms are quite clean, and the service is good too. There's a delicious Malatang restaurant right next door.

The room was great and the location was perfect, right next to the Chiang Mai Night Bazaar in a Kyoto-style alley. The service was excellent, and the front desk staff were very polite. However, the internet was just okay, and connecting to Wi-Fi was a hassle because I had to open a login page and enter my username and password every time.
