My husband & I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful hotel for three nights in October. It was one of our favourite places and we couldn't fault it. From the moment we arrived until the time of our departure, every member of staff we encountered went out of their way to ensure we had a wonderful stay. Our room was called Pinotage, not one of the largest rooms, but it was beautifully appointed, immaculate and very comfortable. We dined in the Palm Terrace restaurant on two evenings and found the food to be of a very high standard and very reasonably priced. When we initially booked our stay at the hotel we had also booked our meals and this included the hotels Tuesday curry night...unbeknownst to us, between booking and our arrival, the seasonal menu had changed and the curry night was no longer on the menu. Realising we had been looking forward to the curry night during our conversations with him, Maitre d, Dane, along with the Executive Chef, arranged to reinstate this delicious curry menu just for us. We were made to feel very valued and it was a fantastic meal and a lovely gesture. We very much enjoyed drinking cocktails and G&T's in the small but perfect bar and loved the ambience of the hotel and it's beautiful surroundings. We found all the staff extremely polite, helpful and enjoyed chatting with them, especially Dane, Tabiso, Richard, Chelsea, Dean and Quinton...plus the security guards and reception staff, everyone was lovely. Palm House Boutique Hotel was our first experience of Cape Town and it was certainly one we will never forget and we would not hesitate to stay there again. Thank you to everyone.
