Orange Hotel (Shangrao Wuyuan Station Pedestrian Street)

Visited Wuyuan in March for the canola flower season and chose this hotel. It's super convenient, just three bus stops from the high-speed train station for only 1 RMB. While there aren't many dining options right nearby, it's about 2km from the town center. The environment is pleasant, and the breakfast is good too.

We were traveling with friends this time, and we were initially torn between Hanting Premium and Orange Hotel. We ended up choosing Orange Hotel, and as soon as we entered the lobby, we were greeted by a refreshing orange scent. The front desk staff upgraded all our rooms during check-in, which made everyone really happy. The overall hotel environment is great, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, very quiet, and the soundproofing is excellent. Due to our itinerary, we only stayed for one night this time, but we'll definitely book this hotel again when we return to experience Wuyuan in a different season.

I booked a room through Trip.com and tried to cancel the night before check-in, but my request was denied. It showed that the reservation was confirmed and non-cancellable for free. I was surprised because usually, free cancellation is allowed before 12 PM or 6 PM on the day of arrival. Since it was the night before, and I had a headache, I didn't contact customer service again. I checked in around 2 PM the next day. The hotel had an Orange Hotel style, and the hygiene was good 👍. The only downside was that the surrounding area was a rather desolate tea market. I tried to modify the order again and was denied. Eventually, after communicating with the front desk, the issue was finally resolved. The breakfast had a rich variety of nutritious options, but it was chaotic due to large tour groups of elderly people.

Parking and charging are very convenient, and a taxi to Xiangao Ancient City is just the minimum fare. The hotel facilities are relatively new, and the rooms are spacious. The breakfast selection isn't extensive, a bit less varied than an Orange Hotel in a first-tier city. Overall, I'm quite satisfied.
