Strategic location. Clean room even though was given a corner room on the 21st floor.I rqstd for room btwn 8th-11th floor facing Dataran Merdeka but was shoved into the corner room. When asked, reception told my booking was not found. Showed booking ID - they admitted there was a miscommunication btwn Trip.com and Moxy Hotel. Reservation didn’t go through and was never rcvd. Issue resolved - 2 complimentary voucher drinks were offered, but we didn’t redeem them, at 9th floor as a gesture of apology. Housekeeping is top notch . Congratulations and well done. #2112 24-26/7/2026

Lively and casual atmosphere. Clean, and the staff are incredibly friendly. The quiet yet bright ambiance made for a very comfortable trip. If I ever go back to Kuala Lumpur, I'll definitely stay here again. Appreciate the welcome tea too! Big thanks to the crew.

The hotel is within walking distance of Petaling Street and Central Market. After exploring the area and grabbing a bite, we took a Grab to Sungei Wang Plaza and Pavilion, and in the evening, we went on a 'sunset coaster' ride! The Moxy's design concept is pretty good, and the staff are very dedicated. A special shout-out to the guys at the breakfast cafe – even though breakfast service was very slow on the weekend, they tried their best to resolve any issues guests brought up! The room wasn't as small as I expected; the space design was very efficient. It had a chic, minimalist, and practical vintage vibe! The pool on the 9th floor had a great view, but I didn't have time to swim, just took a quick look around. Since we got back very late that night, it wasn't until just before bed that I noticed bloodstains on the Simmons mattress and pillow inserts! Even though the sheets and pillowcases were clean, they were thin enough that the stains still showed through. It was too late to bother with the front desk, so I just put up with it for the night. When checking out, I mentioned it to the guy at the front desk. This is definitely something that needs attention!

I never seen such terrible service! This hotel doesn’t have any room services or other services! If you need something you must go and collect by yourself! I asked to send me slippers, but they ask me to come and collect by myself . Also I ask them send me pizza from their bar, but they said to come down order and collect by myself ! Rooms are very small! Even chicken house more bigger! They don’t have even cabinets! Only hangers. After hanging your room look like container! Breakfast every day same food! They never changed breakfast food!

Everything about my stay at Moxy Kuala Lumpur Chinatown was splendid. The hotel has a stylish and lively atmosphere, while the room was clean, comfortable and well maintained. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the experience pleasant from check-in to check-out. The view from my room was another highlight. I enjoyed an impressive Kuala Lumpur skyline, with Merdeka 118 looking especially beautiful when illuminated at night. The location is also excellent. Petaling Street, Central Market and Dataran Merdeka are all nearby, making it easy to explore the city’s heritage, culture and local food scene. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would gladly return. Highly recommended for its convenient location, cleanliness, service, vibrant atmosphere and lovely city view!

The hotel was easy to find, but the surrounding area was a bit messy and dirty. The interior decoration was nice, and there were some free board games on the first floor. Some of the in-room facilities were a bit damaged. Soundproofing was average, and the light rail downstairs made a noticeable sound when it passed by. At 6 AM, the mosque across the street would broadcast prayers loudly for about five minutes. Overall, I was still satisfied.

Facilities and location are good, that's why a high rating. But I will never come back again. Sound proofing is so bad. The train and traffic noise is just so disruptive to a good rest.

The Moxy Hotel lobby was so much fun! 🥳 My daughter loved the arcade games 💓 and Jenga! 😍 We even invited friends over to hang out. 👍 Just 100-200 meters away is Chinatown Night Market, 😋 where you can find super delicious charcoal-fried kway teow and loh mee, plus so many other amazing foods! 😍😍😍 The front desk staff were incredibly friendly, whether speaking English, Cantonese, or Mandarin! 👍👍👍 The room was super comfortable ✌️✌️✌️ and best of all, the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash smelled absolutely divine! 😍😍😍

The room, though small, is fully equipped and perfect for a young couple's vacation. The location is excellent, right next to Chinatown's Porcelain Factory Street, which is incredibly convenient. The staff were very welcoming and made us feel comfortable.
