Image is from Comic Museum. Which is a ok if you can read Chinese. Hotel is fine, location is a bit weird not very walkable but fine.

This place is a great choice for couples and solo travellers. It’s very budget friendly and new, I was thankful that the cleanliness was good as reviewed by the other recent travellers. As a solo female traveller, I found this place safe, convenient and near the Taichung Station, so even if you check in late, it’s easy to find. Free Coffee from a decent self-operated machine in the morning. Only complaint would be less sound-proofing and some noise from other rooms, but they anticipated this and provide ear plugs. All that can be overlooked cos of the other factors like cleanliness.

It’s located near to Taichung Station, but not right outside of it (that one is Branch 1 instead of Branch 3, the staff will point you the right direction if you accidentally entered Branch 1). The room is not big, but has all the necessary functions, and it is very clean and well maintained. There are also some free night snacks available for customers.

The receptionist at Norway 1 was much friendlier than the staff at Norway 3. It was also inconvenient that guests staying at Norway 3 have to walk to Norway 1 for breakfast, which is especially unpleasant on rainy days.Overall is acceptable.
