Gym and sonar is good, the pool is too cold. Bottom of one elevator is useless, breakfast is ok

Loved the surprise given by the hotel, and I had an amazing stay with S/O. The location is amazing, especially you’re surrounded with two of the newest shopping malls in Bangkok. Breakfast options were delicious, and definitely will be back!

We had a one-night stay at SO/ Bangkok before our flight to Koh Samui, and overall, we had a very pleasant experience. Upon arrival, we had to wait approximately 50 minutes for our room to be ready and were finally able to check in around 3:20 PM. While we understand that rooms may occasionally require additional time to be prepared, it would have been appreciated if we had been informed in advance that the wait would be this long. This would have allowed us to leave our luggage with the hotel and start exploring the nearby area instead of waiting in the lobby. As we were staying at SO/ Bangkok as part of our honeymoon, I asked whether a room upgrade with a park view might be available. The hotel kindly upgraded us to a Lumphini Park View Room, which was a lovely gesture and made our stay even more special. The only area that I feel could be improved was the housekeeping. The glasses in our room were noticeably dusty, which I would not expect at a five-star property and is something that could easily be addressed with more thorough room checks. That said, the hotel’s interior design is absolutely beautiful and one of the highlights of the property. The breakfast was also excellent, with a rich and varied selection. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the hospitality we received. We hope to return to SO/ Bangkok on our next visit to Bangkok and, hopefully, stay a little longer to experience more of what the hotel has to offer.

Absolutely loved our stay here! The view from the room was beautiful, and the infinity pool was the highlight for sure. The staff was super helpful, the room was clean and room service was done every day. Would 100% recommend and we will definitely come back.

We stayed at SO/ Bangkok and had mixed feelings about our experience. We ended up complaining about the room because it definitely didn't feel like a 5-star hotel. The furniture was old and worn out, and the overall look didn't match the descriptions or pictures online. It definitely needs a proper renovation.

There wasn’t much of a warm welcome upon arrival, but the concierge team was very helpful and welcoming throughout my stay. The lobby was pleasant, although the room felt quite dated. The shower tiles were creaky, the shower head was noticeably old, and the sink had a water leak. There were also no night lights or ambient lighting, which made the room feel a little stark in the evening. On the plus side, the room was a great size and very spacious. Breakfast was decent, although the restaurant felt a little warm. Overall, the stay was alright, but there is definitely room for improvement, especially when it comes to the room’s upkeep and amenities.
