5L Hotel

Came back the other day to stay at 5L Shared Hotel again for another two days, this time trying a different style of king room. It's a reasonably priced hotel tucked away among high-end hotel clusters, and the transportation, shopping, and dining options are as convenient as always.

This stay exceeded my expectations! The room was impeccably clean with no strange odors, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. The front desk staff were polite and patient, and the check-in process was fast. Conveniently located with easy access to transportation. Highly recommended!

The hotel is in a very convenient location, right inside the China World Mall (Guomao), making both shopping and transportation extremely easy. There's a supermarket and restaurants on the first floor, so dining is also very convenient. The hotel is clean and well-maintained, and the housekeeping staff does a great job. Highly recommended.

Great location with easy transportation. Situated right above the China World Mall, making it extremely convenient for gatherings and shopping. Clean rooms with fully equipped amenities, very nice. The staff were warm and attentive, taking guests' requests seriously and handling them responsibly. Highly commendable.

The room is spacious and bright, with clean and tidy bedding. The soundproofing is also great.

The location is very convenient, right behind the China World Trade Center (Guomao). Ordering takeout is easy, as deliveries can be left at the front desk or in the pickup lockers. Getting around is a breeze with two subway lines nearby, and you can usually just head straight down into the Guomao station entrance.

The location is quite convenient. Right outside, you have the China World Mall, and the CCTV Tower is right there in full view. No need to pay extra to see it.

Traveled to Beijing with my family during the Golden Week holiday and stayed at 5L Hotel in Guomao for 7 nights: 1. Location & Transportation: Located near Guomao Station (Lines 1 & 10) with direct access to China World Mall, making dining and commuting via subway super convenient. It's away from the hustle and bustle within the 2nd Ring Road, so the neighborhood was quite peaceful over the holiday while still easily accessible to everywhere. Downside: The hotel doesn't offer parking. If you're driving or renting a car, parking next to the lobby is outrageously expensive! 2. Room Facilities & Space: The decor is generally dated, and some fixtures show their age. Luckily, the rooms were clean, so the worn-out feel didn't bother us as much after settling in. 3. Service: This was a letdown. The two male front desk staff handling check-in lacked patience and didn't smile at all. They kept juggling luggage pick-up tasks at the same time, which made check-in drag on. Also, during check-out, the staff didn't even bother to stand up—they just sat there and told us to drop the room cards on the counter. Overall: The main selling point is its prime location in Guomao, with very competitive rates for this area. It's ideal for tourists visiting Beijing (easy access to Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, etc.) who prioritize location and subway connectivity and don't mind older decor. Plus, they didn't hike up prices for the holiday—it was actually cheaper than usual rates. Overall, recommended. (The photos show the view right outside the hotel lobby.)

The hotel's location is its biggest advantage, right in the heart of Guomao. However, the environment is quite old, the facilities are outdated, and the front desk staff provided no service at all; their attitude was very arrogant.
