Kuji Grand Hotel

The main problem was the overpowering smell from the smoking room; it was impossible to stay there. Otherwise, it was just a standard Japanese-style business hotel. If you get off at Kuji Station, you have to go through an underpass; it's best to ask for directions the first time, otherwise it's hard to find.

Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay. The front desk staff were friendly, and check-in and check-out went smoothly. The room was clean and tidy, and fully equipped. The bathroom had no unpleasant odors. The soundproofing was also good, and I was largely undisturbed by outside noise. I would definitely choose this place again for my next business trip.

It was close to the station, which made sightseeing easy.

I’ve always wanted to visit Ama after seeing Ama, but Kuji’s hotels often don’t allow online booking. This time I happened to be open for a few days, so I came here to spend a few days. The restaurant on the first floor is good. Guests have discounts and can eat the Ama Set Meal, as well as the sweet and salty meatball soup. Quiet little town, very nice 👍

It's the best hotel near Kuji Station.

It is located right next to Kuji Station. It is along the train tracks, but the train noise is not an issue. The hotel class is good for this area. The room is spacious and comfortable. It is a pity that it smelled a bit of cigarettes, even though it is non-smoking. It is a historic hotel, and the design is from the Showa era, so it is old, but it is clean. There are no outlets in convenient locations in the rooms, but that can't be helped and it's not something that bothers me. The front desk told me about some popular restaurants with locals and tourists. It's a pity that there is no large public bath, even though the hotel is large enough to accommodate weddings and banquets. It was 14,700 yen/night for two people on the day before a holiday on Rakuten Travel.
