White Sand Dhigurah

I was lucky enough to stay at White Sands for a week whilst diving. What really sets the hotel apart from anywhere else i have stayed is the staff, both hotel and dive centre. They are all amazing and really made the stay special. In particular Dula on reception who was always happy to help with a smile on her face, and Avishak who was lovely to talk to at meal times. The hotel is a beautiful and welcoming environment with a nice seating area downstairs and dinner on the rooftop. The room was also perfect, clean on arrival and daily, the air con was powerful and much welcomed. The food was delicious with breakfast/lunch/dinner offer lots of choice for all pallets and varying every day. I will 100% stay again if i am lucky enough to visit Dhigurah again.

We had a wonderful stay in the Maldives, booked through PADI Travel with a dive package. From start to finish, everything was well-organized, from the airport transfer to the boat and back. The resort itself was beautiful, with a very relaxed atmosphere - perfect for unwinding. The staff was incredibly friendly and always ready to help. A special shout-out to the chef, Lakmal, who made sure everyone was well taken care of. Whether you’re a regular eater, vegetarian, vegan, or have allergies, he goes the extra mile to prepare something just right for you. The food was always fresh and delicious! The diving was fantastic, with great dive sites nearby, professional guides, and well-maintained equipment. We saw plenty of marine life, from colorful reefs to larger sea creatures like whaleshark and manta rays. Overall a great experience, and we’d highly recommend it to anyone planning a dive trip to the Maldives!

Super friendly team and great food - chef Lakmal is a real artist in the kitchen. Highly recommended. Hotel location is good, very close to bikini beach (approx. 50m walking distance). Tours (whaleshark, mantas, turtle) are offered onsite, too.

Very nice hotel, it has everything you need, probably the best choice in Dhigurah, considering the price and quality rate. The room had a balcony, TV, kettle, bathroom had toiletries, everything you need is there, and you have enough space to keep your luggage and belongings as well. The staff is very kind and attentive, they have a rooftop so when the weather is nice the breakfast and dinner is there. The buffet lunch is also recommended, we explored other options in Dhigurah, but we were glad that we chose White Sand, it was totally worth it!

We staid 6 days at White Sands Dhigurah and went diving with Oceanholic, everyone was super kind and welcoming right from the start. The guest house is well taken care of, the very friendly staff is always looking out for you. Be not afraid to ask them to arrange or customize packages, boat transfers, food.. we rented some bikes via them for a day as well. Complimentary water every day, tea and coffee, the breakfast and dinner buffet were good as well. We‘d stay here again if we visited Dhigurah next time!

Very good choice of budget hotel but with good qualities in Dhigurah. The rooms are very good and the food is delicious. The hotel workers are always there to help you. We did all the excursions with their Oceanholic divers diving center. Highly recommended!

We spent 9 days in this hotel and our stay has been fabulous! The hotel is quite new, beds are extremely comfortable (i’ve never slept so good during a vacation) and the restaurant offers very good food. The best thing of this place is the staff! From the moment we walked through the entrance they made us feel like home! The sweet and friendly Dula welcomed us with her warm and beautiful smile and she’s been very kind and helpful during our stay. The guys of the restaurant have been incredibly kind and professional as well. What else can I say? We loved them all and they have a very special place in our hearts. We miss them all. So thank you guys for making our stay so unfogettable. We hope to come back soon! ❤️

very clean and well-kept, the rooms are properly equipped, the air conditioning is functional, the staff is friendly and willing to help in any problem. quite diverse food. the only minus would be the surrounding area which is under construction.
