Holiday Inn ISTANBUL - KADIKOY by IHG

The hotel's location isn't the best, but the service and customer care are top-notch. My second-floor room overlooked a bus parking lot and wash station (it's a 15-minute leisurely walk to the metro, and getting to the hotel from the new airport by metro + metrobus takes about an hour). I recommend the Kadıköy area if it's not your first time in Istanbul.

The hotel is located a bit out of the way, right next to an elevated highway, so the location isn't ideal. The surroundings, being an old residential area by the roadside, unfortunately detract from the ambiance one would expect from a 4-star hotel. It's a typical InterContinental Group Holiday Inn, and it's managed relatively well and kept clean. The breakfast selection isn't extensive, but it's hygienic and spotless. Everything from the restaurant to the weight training room and the guest rooms is generally small and cozy. Don't expect much from the room view, as it overlooks the road and residential areas, and the soundproofing isn't great, so you might hear some outside noise.

The hotel's location, slightly removed from the bustling Kadıköy city center, was a plus as it offered peace and quiet. Its proximity to the bus terminal and metro station made it incredibly convenient for exploring various parts of Istanbul via public transport. Overall, the hotel was in good condition, and the staff were friendly.

A decent hotel. It's always my preferred choice, and I'm always very satisfied with my stay here. The transportation is also excellent. The staff are very cheerful and helpful.

I've stayed here twice, and a colleague of mine has stayed three times. The location is convenient, but parking is limited. Sometimes the valet has to park the car elsewhere. My colleague is Turkish and found it awkward because he couldn't carry much cash to tip daily, and on his last day, he ran out entirely. : -)
