Hotel Nazionale

Wonderful stay in the heart of Rome I had a lovely stay at the Hotel Nazionale during my trip to Rome with my spouse. The location is absolutely perfect—right in the historic center and just a short walk from the beautiful Pantheon. It was incredibly convenient to explore the city on foot, with many great restaurants, cafés, and historic landmarks nearby. One thing we really appreciated was how safe the area felt. The hotel is located right next to the Palazzo Montecitorio, which houses the Italian Parliament, so there is always a visible security presence around the square. Another nice bonus is that one of Rome’s most famous gelato spots, Giolitti, is just a short walk away—perfect for an evening stroll and dessert. The hotel itself has a charming classic Roman atmosphere. Our room was comfortable, clean, and surprisingly quiet considering how central the location is. The staff were warm, professional, and always happy to help with recommendations. Their hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, staying here made our visit to Rome even more memorable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and very well-located place to stay in Rome, and I would happily return on my next visit.

this hotel is centrally located with 5 minutes walk to Patheon. It is quiet and safe during the night as it is in same plaza as Chigi Palace where the Italy Prime Minister resides. Inside the hotel is well renovated and nicely appointed. Staff is super friendly and helpful. The air conditioning was not working during my stay and staff managed getting fan for my room.

The location of this hotel is perfect for anyone looking to stay close to the main attractions here in Rome. I booked the Basic Single Room and it was very spacious and comfortable for single travelers. The price may seem high but the location, service, and safety makes up for it. There is a police presence outside the hotel as your right by the Parliament adding a sense of safety throughout the day. The front desk was very helpful and respectful at check in and check out. If I ever come back to Rome and it’s in my budget I will definitely highly consider staying here again.

Near to the parliament and feels safe. Many popular attractions are nearby too! Love the room and it was a pleasant stay! The breakfast buffet was quite standard though and thought it could be better.

Hotel is just next to a parliament building so many police on patrol day and night. Feels very safe. Many restaurants and cafes down the street to choose from. Location is all within walking distance to Pantheon, Trevi fountain, Piazza Navona and the shopping district. Metro and many public buses nearby to go to further tourist attractions. The room has a high ceiling and decor gives off the traditional look.Hotel has a lift to use.
