Maya Ubud Resort & Spa

The hotel is beautiful and offers a wide range of activities. There's a complimentary shuttle to Ubud town every hour on the hour. In the mornings, they have yoga, various trekking options, and kids' activities. I joined both the rice paddy trek and the forest trek, and they were quite enjoyable. However, the kids' activities weren't very well organized; on the first day, I eagerly went to participate in rice planting, only to find out it was canceled. Dinner was much more to my Chinese palate than restaurants in town, and it came with a show. Plus, they have a kids' menu, which was fantastic – absolutely no spice. The show starts at 8:15 PM, but dinner reservations are essential as seating is limited.

Although it wasn't a villa, I stayed in a hotel room near the lobby. Nevertheless, the facilities were clean, the staff's hospitality was excellent, and the environment was quiet and cozy, making for a truly wonderful stay. More than anything, the time spent at the pool, restaurant, and bar was incredibly comfortable and pleasant. This is the kind of hotel that makes you want to spend more time there than sightseeing. Next time, I think I'll try staying in a villa.

Top resort, a true oasis where you can completely unwind. There are always evening shows, most lasting an hour. Food is very good. Breakfast was delicious, and complimentary coffee and cake were served in between. I had dinner every evening.

The ambiance is superb, with a mysterious and luxurious feel, as if you're in an ancient, mystical tribe, yet with all the comforts of a modern stay, dining, and transportation experience. The staff are incredibly friendly and genuinely seem to love their jobs; they're very enthusiastic and considerate of guests. If I had more time, I'd definitely stay longer. I even met an artist painting eggs in the garden, and despite my poor English, he patiently chatted with me. A perfect staycation!

Highly recommended hotel! It's a vast property nestled between a jungle and a valley, offering a variety of activities like jungle trekking and rice paddy strolls. The gym, tennis courts, and cliffside pool are all stunning. The vegetation is lush, the air is fresh, and you might even spot a family of monkeys visiting the courtyard in the mornings. Breakfast is good, with plenty of local specialties. It's a truly comfortable and relaxing place for a vacation. I'd definitely come back if I get the chance.

The hotel's environment and location are excellent, and the service is very attentive. I especially enjoyed the pool, yoga classes, and dining while watching performances in the evening. There's also complimentary afternoon tea every day. The room had universal power outlets, so I didn't even need an adapter. The hotel's SPA was absolutely stunning, and the massage techniques were great – a wonderful experience. Of course, the price was much higher than outside.

This hotel is still stunning in the evening. Staying here, you're surrounded by forests, rivers, valleys, and fields all at once. It's truly a dream tropical resort.
