Handy location for train and bus, with a leisure park and retail park close by. Much better value than local competition. Rooms were large, everything worked and was cleaned to a good standard. The service from all staff was professional and polite, Gareth the new general manager provided helpfull advice regarding future visits. There were no noise issues while the amenities experienced were all of good condition and in working order.

After a long drive on a miserable night I was greeted with a lovely warm, friendly and kind welcome from Leanne on reception. She asked if there was anything else I needed, directed me to a basket of teabags in case I wanted more tea in my room. She also offered me a hairdryer for the morning. This was probably the cleanest and well maintained Travelodge I’ve stayed in, the room was cosy and warm with the facility to turn the temperature down. I did have to keep the window shut due to road traffic but this was not an issue. My stay was certainly value for money, I would not hesitate to stay there again or recommend to others.

Great deal to get at short notice , clean room as usual well aired and very quiet inside and out. Only drawback now is you have to book your room as an extra payment Good breakfast at Sterling furniture store just down the road with a discount with your Travelodge pass key, opens 10am

Only giving this rating due to the really rude receptionist named Maddy, asked her a few questions & her attitude was shocking, she definitely shouldn't be working as customer facing.plus side was 2 lovely cleaners named Yvonne & Leeanne, always chatted with smile & took time to chat even when busy, they are both a credit to the company & definitely deserve recognition 100000% for their hard work & cheery smiles, made my mornings chatting to them, pat on the back for both. Just a shame about Maddy the receptionist let the company down, so rude!

This place was excellent. Rooms are basic and a bit dated paint and fabric wise but the room was spotless, clean, smelt fresh and had everything we needed. I’d like to personally thank the blonde housekeeper from a local town I believe her name was Yvonne. Such a kind woman gave us fresh towels every day, always asked us how we were. Reception staff were also just as nice, the tall blonde young supervisor is a credit to this hotel and the company, her warm welcoming manner, her attention to detail and her memory of things guests have told her was incredible. She spoke directly to my elderly disabled mother instead of me which is uncommon for people to do and it made my mother feel seen which was an enjoy. Merry Christmas to everyone at the hotel. We will see you all again on our next trip to Scotland.

Spent 6 nights here across 3 stays in 3 weeks. Really good stays, hotel so quiet despite it being busy. Staff members were great. Handy location just off M9. Didn't realise how close it is to Edinburgh so would be tempted to stay here for an Edinburgh stay if cost was an issue. Shopping/eats a short walk away. Only gripe is no plugs by the bed.

Great stay. Bryce was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. My 2nd stay and back again in 2 weeks. So handy for Edinburgh (20 mins walk to train station) and the Harvester restaurant (despite being a chain) is one of the best places I've had meals.

Really good experience. Despite being near the motorway, our rooms were quiet, very comfortable, each had a bath & the staff were helpful. Very good value compared to staying in Edinburgh- we used it as a base for 2 nights & got the added bonus of going across the Forth rail bridge. There are a few places to eat within walking distance of the hotel. The only drawback was that the nearest station was 20 mins walk away. Dunfirmeline Abbey well worth a visit.
