1 Hotel Hanalei Bay

The hotel itself, rooms and location are absolutely top notch! And the top restaurant and bar food was super nice and tasty! Views are stunning. However, our checkin experince was the worst I have ever seen in any hotel ever. I booked a room at 9am for the same day and up until 8:30 PM we could not check in. Nothing was offered to us by the receptionist, not even a free drink or water at the bar or so while we waited with our luggage and watched people eat in the booked out restaurants. This checkin experience was not worthy of a hotel in that price range and class and initially spoiled the 5 night stay we had.

Hotel was very clean and nice but a bit overpriced All employees were fabulous Food was too expensive and we mostly ate elsewhere.

From the concierges, to the valets, to the poolside wait staff, to the housekeeping, the hospitality was wonderful! We made the mistake of doing Uber instead of a rental car. Not the smartest idea considering it is really easy to get an Uber from the airport to Princeville, but very hard to get an Uber while at the hotel. The valet manager and staff were very helpful in arranging other transportation for us, and even drove us to and from the hotel to the the Princeville Market so we could try some other restaurants in addition to the ones at the hotel. Perfect access to the beach and fun trails to walk/hike.

Probably the nicest view I have ever experienced at a resort. The entire property is stunning. The food was excellent , especially so at Welina Terrace. They could use a little work on the service, no major complaints, but a few hiccups. The staff is very friendly and makes every effort for there guest's. The rooms are nice, but are quite small. For me, the beds were too soft. The views are so stunning at this property , that any minor deficiencies are immediately forgotten.

Everything about this property is awesome. Easy beach access, five star experience, nice restaurants, excellent service.
