The 4 days, 3 nights trip was simply amazing. Myself, my wife and my 2 kids, had a wonderful time at Genting Awana Resort. We stayed in the Family room and it was very spacious and with all facilities. Nothing more to ask. The trip was not hectic and very easy going. The buffet breakfast had a lot of options and was tasty. Will definitely book again at Genting Awana Resort.

The bathroom smelled absolutely terrible, it gave me a headache. Also, the hotel is halfway up a mountain, so you have to take a bus and then a cable car to get there. There's a bus schedule provided. On the positive side, the hotel staff were all very nice.

While the mansion was cozy and clean, it is unfortunately situated next to abandoned / unrenovated units, and the area had a very strong, unpleasant odour, possibly from mould.

The location is great, right on the hillside, and there's a place nearby (Wutong Zaiye) with lots of food options. There's also a Premium outlet with many boutique shops. The room facilities are very clean, but you have to be careful by the entrance as you can easily bump into the glass window. I found ants in the kettle, so I had to go out and buy bottled water. Then I discovered there's a water dispenser next to the reception where you can refill.

Nobody came to help us with the luggage to the car. Either the English language of staff is poor or the can’t be bothered with serving customers. We were told to go to the Lodge for breakfast and then the staff at the lodge told us to go to another place for breakfast.

We had a happy and enjoyable stay at Awana Genting. There is a big open field where kids can run around and enjoy outdoor activities, which is a great plus for families. The swimming pool has warm water, and the kids really enjoyed spending time there. The only downside was that the swimming pool slide was not working during our stay. Other than that, everything was good. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and a nice place for a family getaway.
