Before our stay, I emailed the hotel to ask the concierge to help book the 'Asia Kitchen' course. The concierge responded very promptly, which I really appreciated. It happened to be my birthday on the day of check-in, and opening the room door was indeed a pleasant surprise. Shangri-La's service has always been excellent. The environment is fantastic; at night, you can hear the sounds of frogs. The only minor drawback is that the vanity mirror cannot be adjusted for upward or downward angles.

Very nice stay at Shangri-la Chang Mai for 12 days. The location to many tourist attractions and restaurants is ideal, staff were very friendly and accommodating. Our room was quite small and on the basic side but was kept very clean by housekeeping. I loved the water pressure from the shower, hot in a few seconds and very powerful. Breakfast was good, several new dishes each day and numerous international options. Perhaps there are other options that are better value for the money but overall we were very satisfied with our stay there.

Book the premier king room for our honeymoon in Chiang mai. Very good services from all the staff. Location is very good where night markets are just walking distance. Room is huge and clean. Lobby is big and look majestic. It’s just a little pity that the furnitures looks old and towels looks very well used. I had a towel that had a hole . Overall it’s still a very nice hotel. I would stay here again if I’m back in Chiang mai

I always love staying at Shangri-La hotels wherever I go; it's probably a sentimental attachment, a preference! The antique-style lobby creates such an immersive atmosphere, and the wide variety of delicious food makes me feel right at home! All in all, I just love it!
