Comfort Inn & Suites

Good experience

Front desk was kind, helpful, and on top of things. Easy and free early 4:30AM airport shuttle was extra helpful. Room was spacious and clean.

The reception staff was extraordinarily helpful and friendly. I believe his name was Colin, on the overnight shift. I am very grateful. It had been a long day.

The room was dirty, from Old pee that had dried around the toilet with a bunch of hairs to grey soap scum in the bathtub & cobwebs on the ceiling. We also found random bits of things on the floor, a wrapper, a bandaid between the bed and the nightstand. It’s an older hotel but that doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be properly cleaned. Carpet in the elevator was a disaster, so disgusting, all stained with the dried stuff on it. The staff was helpful at the front desk and at breakfast in the morning. Breakfast was decent standard hotel fair.

Conveniently located right off the highway. Rooms were good. Some could use updating. One of our rooms was missing a closet door.Staff is friendly and complementary breakfast was standard, but good.

Front desk staff were pleasant. Room was okay, except that we found hairs stuck to the walls of the shower, Ben & Jerry's ice cream in the fridge, and a broken thermostat that would not adjust the temperature. They sent an employee to troubleshoot, but there was nothing he could do on short notice. They offered to switch us to another room, but it was too late and we were almost ready to turn in. That employee offered and promptly brought a box fan, which sufficed. Accommodations were otherwise adequate; it's just frustrating to end a long day in a hotel room that is less than satisfactory.

This was my second time staying here. The shower curtain was put up for a stand up shower. So the bathroom floor would end up soaked after a shower. Adjusted the temperature in the room and it seemed like it took a long time for it to cool off or warm up. The pool wasn’t open for the season, which is understandable.

The stay that wasn't. I accidentally booked for the wrong dates (about a month later than my actual visit), and within minutes contacted ******* and the hotel to try to rebook for the correct dates. ******* basically shrugged and said the hotel had to agree to "cancel" with a refund, while the hotel's business manager gave no response whatsoever to numerous phone calls, chat messages, and even an in-person visit to the hotel on the date I wantes to begin my stay. They could have helped me rebook (there was availability for the correct dates) but couldn't be bothered and apparently were happy once they had my money. So I'm out almost $250. This was as bad a customer service experience as I can ever remember having. ******* is no longer my first choice for booking hotels, and I'd never give this Quality Inn a dime of my business.

The A/C was broken. It was 80 degrees in the room. I was given a fan. The internet was out. I used mobile data. I will avoid this hotel in the future.
