The location and the service were excellent. The food was average. However, the biggest issue, was the access road. We were really stressed, coming and going from the location as the access road was narrow, and not well built.

Beautiful location - feels so peaceful since its a little disconnected from the busyness of the Nuwara Eliya town itself. It's so quiet that, if you really stop and listen - you hear the faint sound of watefalls situated on eitherside of the property. We had the whole place to ourselves and had a wonderful time there. Ruba, Meena Amma and the chef took very good care of us. Meals were delicious and they always seemed very accommodating. I think its the perfect place to relax and unwind - especially more fun if you travel with a group. Breakfast and lunch on the lunch, looking out towards the mountains - what a heavenly experience. Will go back again for sure. Note: the road to the property is not great, but you shouldn't have too much trouble if you go there in an SUV - and coordinate your arrival/departure times so as not to clash with other guests.

The bungalow has such a charming old British feel to it, peaceful and almost like living inside a quiet fairy tale. What stayed with me most was the stillness of the place; the sound of rain, birds, squirrels, and the wind; no noise, just pure calmness 🤍✨ Absolutely loved the place and the whole concept behind it. Because Jetwing Warwick is a feeling, something deeply felt.

Beautiful house in a stunning location, high in the mountains with incredible views. Our host Viji and the team made us very welcome. We were treated to a tour of the tea plantation and shown how to pick tea leaves then shown around the factory. Food, drink and services were first class. A unique experience and so peaceful. Absolutely loved our stay there.

The welcome we received from Gayan and his team when we arrived, the location which is so tranquil. The surrounding countryside is breathtaking. Our room was perfect, everything catered for and it looked out over the garden. We had a tour of the tea plantation, everything explained about the process, which was fascinating. Each meal we had was delicious and portions perfect. Overall wonderful experience.

Right from the atmosphere, restored details and attentive service to the beautiful property and the plantation walk everything about Warwick Gardens was a delight. We felt so at peace during our 2 day stay here and Viji was so amazing and helpful.

What a fantastic location! This restored old colonial bungalow, with its beautiful landscaped garden, looks out over surrounding luscious hillsides in the heart of Sri Lanka's tea growing region. Although the hotel is isolated we found that the peace and tranquility it offered just added to its charm. We especially enjoyed eating our breakfast in the sunshine on the front patio accompanied by a chorus of birdsong. The single track approach road from the high road was very bumpy and we were relieved to be told by the hotel staff that they ensured only one vehicle was allowed along it at a time, to avoid two vehicles meeting each other from opposite directions! The staff were very keen to make our stay a pleasant one. The food was tasty and interesting and the room and the beds comfortable. The WiFi was patchy in our room, but we found that it was possible to get a reasonable connection from the living room – because it was closer to the router located in the hallway. The only other niggle we had was a lack of hot water on our first night, but after telling the staff about this the next morning it was quickly remedied.

My family and I had a truly amazing time staying at this lovely hotel. Wiji, Ruba, and Jaykumar did an fantastic job of creating a peaceful stay and also teaching us about every step in the tea making process. Plus, Chef Yoga's food was a true highlight of the trip. I highly recommend seeing Warwick Gardens for yourself!

We stayed at Warwick Gardens as a 3 family group during our recent visit to Sri Lanka. From the time we checked in, Viji and Ruba took care of all our needs with a smile. They were kind, polite and efficient in all their dealings with us. Chef Yoga was magical and produced delicacy after delicacy for each meal. No request was turned down or nothing was too big for this team. The Tea Experience was amazing with Jeyakumar and Viji taking us through every stage of tea - planting, plucking, sorting, drying to producing artisanal teas! This ended up with a home cooked lunch the traditional way at Meenamma's line room. All the vegetables were from the plantation and the meal was delicious. The tea tasting experience was one of a kind and a memorable event. We ended up buying a whole lot of tea for personal use and as gifts. The location is remote as expected, and the access roads still show devastating effects of hurricane Ditwah. The gardens look out into the distant mountains with walking paths offering a bird's eye view of the village below. The bungalow is beautifully renovated from a 1850's tea planter's home carefully preserving the original detailing. Rooms are tastefully decorated, and clean. After the checkout we realized that a valuable personal item was left behind. Gayan, the manager of the property was kind enough to personally deliver this to us at the hotel we stayed in Colombo. Jetwing Warwick Gardens and the team will stay in our memories for years to come and we look forward for a second visit during our next holiday to Sri Lanka.
