My family and I had a truly amazing time staying at this lovely hotel. Wiji, Ruba, and Jaykumar did an fantastic job of creating a peaceful stay and also teaching us about every step in the tea making process. Plus, Chef Yoga's food was a true highlight of the trip. I highly recommend seeing Warwick Gardens for yourself!

We stayed at Warwick Gardens as a 3 family group during our recent visit to Sri Lanka. From the time we checked in, Viji and Ruba took care of all our needs with a smile. They were kind, polite and efficient in all their dealings with us. Chef Yoga was magical and produced delicacy after delicacy for each meal. No request was turned down or nothing was too big for this team. The Tea Experience was amazing with Jeyakumar and Viji taking us through every stage of tea - planting, plucking, sorting, drying to producing artisanal teas! This ended up with a home cooked lunch the traditional way at Meenamma's line room. All the vegetables were from the plantation and the meal was delicious. The tea tasting experience was one of a kind and a memorable event. We ended up buying a whole lot of tea for personal use and as gifts. The location is remote as expected, and the access roads still show devastating effects of hurricane Ditwah. The gardens look out into the distant mountains with walking paths offering a bird's eye view of the village below. The bungalow is beautifully renovated from a 1850's tea planter's home carefully preserving the original detailing. Rooms are tastefully decorated, and clean. After the checkout we realized that a valuable personal item was left behind. Gayan, the manager of the property was kind enough to personally deliver this to us at the hotel we stayed in Colombo. Jetwing Warwick Gardens and the team will stay in our memories for years to come and we look forward for a second visit during our next holiday to Sri Lanka.

We stayed here for 3 nights, I think in the best room, it was the White Room and both beautiful and comfortable. The property itself is lovely with interesting history, period features and furniture, and gorgeous views. We were lucky with the weather - warm and sunny. The staff Ruba and Meena were very helpful and friendly, and the chef produced lovely meals. There is an old fashioned drinks cabinet in the corner of the living room for pre-dinner drinks, a nice touch. A highlight of our stay was a 3 hour walk with Ruba one morning, he took us around the local countryside, showing us the small tea plantation, telling us stories of growing up in the area, we visited his school and his village and saw the damage caused by the cyclone and floods last year. Ruba is an excellent storyteller and brought the local culture alive for us. I would definitely recommend Warwick Gardens for a stay.

A beautiful, quintessential Colonial style house sat in a tea plantation. Ruba and Viji could not have been more welcoming with a real emphasis on making us feel like we are at home. The meals cooked by Yoga were also of a very high standard. The only downside to Warwick Gardens is we only planned to stay for one night!

Beautiful old style planters house set in gorgeous gardens with spectacular views over the valley. The food was very tasty served in the grand dining room. The staff were very attentive especially Ruben who was so keen to please and is a lovely person. I would thoroughly recommend a stay here although two nights is enough.

This small beautiful hotel at the old tea plantation is very grand and peaceful a welcome break after a week doing typical tourist activities. Many features are original and theres a very personal approach to all its guests. The manager Vegee is charming and very attentive to individual needs. The walk in the nearby national park to see Worlds end is a must. We loved it.
