I booked this hotel for family reunion before attending a wedding locally the following day.. We were hoping that our family could have a lovely relaxed get together and catch up in a great location. The hotel building was absolutely stunning and the grounds were beautiful. There is a lovely play park next to the hotel for anyone with young children. The service was very good, staff were very professional and helpful. The young girls seving breakfast were lovely although very softly spoken, maybe a lack of confidence, but I found myself struggling to hear what was said. Not a huge problem but as many elderly people like myself have some hearing loss, it is something to be aware of during staff training. Unfortunately our experience of this gorgeous place was spoiled by the very loud karaoke party taking place on the lawn all afternoon. The hotel is on a busy flight path, and karaoke as well as that was just too much! We were a group of ten, in five rooms. The group arrived throughout the day, some travelling up to three hours and others, five. The only place we could meet and hear ourselves chat was the air conditioned bar. This was not ideal on a beautiful sunny day when it would have been lovely to sit outside and enjoy the lovely surroundings. The bar staff did carry a couple of heavy chairs to the front of the hotel at one point, where the sound was a little quieter, but as our group numbers increased this didn't work for us. As the person who chose the hotel for our family reunion, I felt very sad and embarrassed that the noise meant that we weren't able to enjoy the location as we should have been able to.

Really loved staying here, great atmosphere, great food, will definitely be looking to stay again. Only reason not full points for amenities is cause of the parking and even though it isn't there fault, the council pay one you could only pay though an app which I gave up trying to set up because it also wouldn't roll over to the next day so if you park in it overnight, you would have to get up before the charging period the next day to go and put another day on your parking. Actual hotel in every other respect absolutely lovely.

Nicely situated hotel in park grounds. 25 minute walk to Cheadle town centre. Beautiful rooms although was surprised there was only all over body wash and separate hair conditioner. No shampoo or body lotion. Breakfast was self service for juice, cereals and toast but you ordered mains separately. Staff very nice. We were there for a wedding for 2 nights and the booking of the rooms was badly managed. My son on his own ended up paying over £400 as they said he had booked the suite which he hadn’t.

I discovered this hidden gem by accident. I had almost given up on finding a hotel that was close enough to the airport as well as to local shopping and had ac. There are only two things I have a problem with in regards to this place. Please note there is not an elevator or lift as the UK states. The other draw back is there is no way to shield the light in the bathroom area. It is hard to describe. There is a beautiful glass door to the right and left in the bath area with a sink in the middle of the space. If one has to get up to use the facilities the light being turned on glares in the face of the other one in bed. One other note is to be careful when closing the glass door. When I closed the door, my finger got closed in the door and it actually cut my finger below the cuticle. After 3 days, my finger is blue and sore. While the hotel is directly under the local airport's flight pattern, we never heard planes unless we were outside. The grounds are astounding as is the building itself. Make sure to check out the artwork throughout the place. If you like hidden staircases, watch out. The place appears to be kid friendly. There is a fabulous playground adjacent to the property. Make sure to purchase duck food for the locals. The bar, while somewhat limited in its offerings, was suitable for us. As to cost, the prices were comparable if not better than other bars/pubs we have visited.. We did not dine in the restaurant, but from what I say, the food looked amazing. The young man working reception was so very nice to help with our luggage as well as anything else we may have needed. The young ladies working in the bar were also very nice. In fact, they were so embarrassed by my asking to take their photo. They said no one had ever asked to take their photo.

It's like a park, very quiet. The room is very comfortable, and the loft feels good. It's very comfortable to stroll in the yard in the morning.
