The hotel is close to the subway station, and you can rent bicycles. The 24-hour coffee, tea, beverages, and good quality breads are really impressive. The room facilities are complete, and the shower is excellent. The soundproofing of the hotel is very good; even with the construction site across the street, it didn't affect my sleep. I'll definitely go again next time!

There was construction next to the hotel, but the soundproofing was excellent; I didn't hear a thing! The room was really small – I couldn't open the door if I laid my suitcase flat – but it had all the facilities, and the layout was well-designed. Downstairs, there's a 24-hour self-service snack bar with four types of bread, three kinds of juice, tea, coffee, and drinking water. The complimentary small cup was adorable, and I even kept using it when I went to Osaka later; it felt really good quality.

The room was very spacious, the most comfortable hotel I've stayed in in Japan. In the morning, they offer free bread, milk, and coffee, and orange juice and other drinks are available all day. Who knew they'd have hot milk in the morning? No more cold water first thing! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I'll definitely stay here again.

Really good! They offer free 24-hour bread and drinks on the ground floor. The hotel pajamas were neatly folded and placed right in the room. The transportation is also super convenient; just make sure you know which exit to use, as the entrance/exit is very close and you don't even need to cross the road. Before booking, I saw some reviews mentioning dirty carpets, but I paid close attention after checking in and didn't notice any issues. The hygiene was quite good, so it might vary between rooms. Overall, I'm really satisfied. The front desk staff were pleasant during both check-in and check-out. The female staff members were a bit more enthusiastic, but everyone was polite and respectful.

Fantastic! Absolutely thrilled with our stay! We'll definitely choose this hotel again next time we're in Kyoto. We stayed here for 5 nights out of our 12-night trip to Kyoto, and we booked a corner room. The room was far from small; it comfortably accommodated two people and four suitcases (two large, two small) with plenty of space. The location is excellent – just a 3-minute walk to Exit 2 of Karasuma Oike Station on the Karasuma subway line, and there are bus stops nearby as well. The lobby is wonderful, offering 24-hour complimentary water, coffee, and even a small tea shop, which is a really thoughtful touch. The service was also top-notch. All the staff members were polite, attentive, and meticulous. Overall, a superb experience.

I've been to Kyoto countless times and have always chosen hotels within a 500-meter radius, staying in four different ones in total. My absolute favorite, and the most perfect, is this 'Insomnia' hotel, which has the newest facilities and a perfect layout. The main reason is that this time I booked a 26-square-meter corner room. Room size always dictates comfort. Secondly, the large bathtub is fantastic; a daily soak truly relaxes my muscles and eases fatigue. The lobby bar also stands out compared to others nearby, offering various beverages and breads 24/7. A special mention goes to the space under the bed where large suitcases can be stored without taking up valuable room – this is incredibly important for guests staying multiple nights! Of course, the hotel is within walking distance of many attractions and shopping malls, and the staff are all gentle and friendly. All in all, I'm extremely satisfied!👍

Although the hotel room was small, it was able to accommodate a large suitcase's worth of clothes and toiletries. Everything could be neatly organized into the wardrobe and the drawers under the sink, and the suitcase could be tucked away beside them. The overall living space was quite comfortable. The lobby lounge was very useful, and I particularly enjoyed the matcha yuzu bread. The room was surprisingly quiet; even though there was construction happening directly across the street, it stopped by 5 PM, so it didn't really affect my rest. When I stay in Kyoto, I'm usually out early and back late, and I don't tend to sleep in, so it wasn't a major issue. It would be even better if the hairdryer could be upgraded. Oh, and the laundry room only had one washer and one dryer, and they seemed poorly maintained, so I didn't feel comfortable using them. I ended up going to a self-service laundromat a 7-minute walk away, which was quite clean. I'd likely choose this hotel again next time.

The hotel is clean, tidy, and has a new, comfortable decor. The lobby offers complimentary drinks and bread, and the front desk staff are warm and friendly – truly excellent! The hotel's location is peaceful yet convenient for getting around, and Nijo Castle is within walking distance.
