Ivy League Youth Inn

This hotel is perfect in every sorts except the location. It took me around 1 hour to find it as there were no sign boards to locate it. I asked around about the location to the shop keepers next to the hotel building, and even they didn’t know it exists. I complained the manager about the same. After reading this review please don’t be discouraged to choose this hotel. I have posted the photos of the building and the elevator that is needed to be used. And this hotel is on 8th floor just in front of the elevator doors.

Fantastic budget accomodation I was comfortable and the staff were so helpful. Amazing value and you can walk across the road and catch the iconic cableway! Free laundry was very helpful. I recommend freshippo nearby for groceries and aah burger for a proper lux burger, I normally only eat local food when I travel but it was worth it.

Small cozy hostel, very well located at walking distance to the main spot. Bed was confortable and there's washing machine for free as well as water dispenser. There's a fridge for food storage and kettle, but lacks microwave. Cleaning could be better though, especially of the restroom. Overall, it's a good place to stay and I would stay again. The only downside is that smoking, though forbidden in the dorms, is allowed in the common areas, making it smells bad in the premisses.

A good place in the tourist center of a city, has all the things you need and a very nice administrator

Very very very dirty. I am traveling through Asia for 6 months now, and this was the worst place, by far. But I think was the cheapest one. I felt disgusted staying there Stains on the mattress, dirty shower, dirty toilet. 1 seating toilet. 1 squatting toilet.

Convenient location in Chongqing, but was a bit hard to find. Bathrooms were a little dirty but hostel room was nice.

The hotel upgraded our room for free, and the staff explained everything clearly. The amenities were fantastic—rivaling even higher-priced hotels! We loved the smart toilet, huge TV, sanitised towels, and slippers. The location was perfect, with plenty of food options and stores nearby. Overall, a super nice spot with excellent value for the price. Highly recommend!

The room is amazing and stafs are so kind and educated. When I arrived I found the building a bit scared, but once I saw the hotel I felt right home.

For me it’s okay, the big problem it’s the smokers, they smoke side of the room, so when you go sleep smell cigarettes.
