Castle Bromwich Hall, Sure Hotel Collection by Best Western

The environment is quite nice, with natural scenery and fountains, giving it a castle-like feel. The breakfast selection is quite rich, and overall, it's a good experience. It's very suitable for a relaxing family trip.

I looked it up online, and apparently, it used to be a count's castle, even housing soldiers during WWI before being abandoned and later renovated to reopen. Compared to chain hotels at a similar price point, the only advantage is the larger rooms; everything else, like the outdated facilities and lack of an elevator, isn't great. However, as a unique experience during our trip, it was still worthwhile. You can still see traces of its aristocratic past, which the kids really enjoyed. We also got to witness a very distinctive exotic wedding, which was a nice bonus.

This is a unique hotel, more like a small estate, and it has its own parking lot. However, the EV charging stations in the parking lot were out of order. I booked a single room, and while it was fully equipped with everything I needed despite its small size, I have to admit it was indeed a bit too cramped.

This hotel, converted from a small castle manor, has a rich history and spacious rooms. Breakfast is a traditional English spread. Our family room was on the third floor, and since there's no direct elevator access, we had to carry our luggage from the second floor up to the third ourselves, which was incredibly tiring 😮💨. The hotel's tiny elevator can only fit one adult and two suitcases.
