I was very satisfied with the service. The hotel environment was quiet, perfect for a family vacation, and my child had a great time.

The environment is great, perfect for family trips. The hotel is located halfway up Cangshan Mountain, offering panoramic views of Erhai Lake. The front desk saw we had a child and gave us complimentary breakfast. I agonized over choosing this hotel, but I have no regrets.

This hotel is close to Gantong Temple and backed by Cangshan Mountain. It's also not far from Dali Ancient City, though you'll need a taxi to get there. The hotel offers great views, with a distant sight of Erhai Lake. If possible, remember to request an east-facing room for the sunrise. There are many rooms available. A big thank you to Grace for her prompt support; I had a satisfying stay.

Seriously, avoid this hotel! Before coming to Dali, I was swayed by all the rave reviews online, thinking a place at the foot of Cangshan Mountain with a distant view of Erhai Lake would be great. Turns out, it was a total disaster. The common areas of the hotel were decent, but the room hygiene was absolutely terrible. My family of three stayed for two nights, and we all experienced varying degrees of itching on our arms and legs. Then, the sores shown in the picture appeared. I have no idea what kind of dirty things were in the bedding. On our third day in Dali, we decisively checked out and switched hotels. And for a 'star-rated' hotel, they're still using those ancient, broken toilets. More importantly, as soon as you walked into the bathroom, there was a strong smell of urine! Good heavens, a hotel charging 1400 a night was far worse than the Huazhu Group hotels I usually stay at. Avoid, avoid, avoid! ✖️✖️

Pretty good, staying in a hotel in Dali is so much more comfortable. Backed by Cangshan Mountain with a beautiful view of Erhai Lake. It's especially convenient if you're driving. The hotel service is excellent. Be sure to choose a sea-view room; the scenery is delightful.

Had a great stay, and the butler service was excellent. The only downside is that if you're walking to nearby attractions, there's quite a bit of uphill climbing involved.

Environment: Although it's an old property, the environment is excellent. Hygiene: Very clean. I originally thought there would be a lot of mosquitoes and insects since it's at the foot of the mountain, but there weren't any. The room hygiene was also very thorough. Service: A butler proactively added me on WeChat and asked if I needed any help. During breakfast, the staff were also very enthusiastic and friendly, especially towards children.

Booked through Trip.com, we got a 2-person package that included entrance to the Three Pagodas, which was decent. The breakfast was Hilton-style and quite varied. We booked a deluxe lake view room for two adults and one child, and they upgraded us to a lake view room on the 7th floor. We also received welcome fruit and a mini-bar with a few drinks and alcoholic beverages. The overall service was pretty good! (٩(•̤̀ᵕ•̤́๑)ᵒᵏᵎᵎᵎᵎ) If you're staying in Caicun, like we did a few days ago, taking a taxi to the Hilton is definitely convenient.
