HanTing Guangzhou South Railway Station Hotel

Bad review! We checked into another hotel we were staying at that same day around 2 PM and found the disinfectant smell to be overpowering (it hit you as soon as you stepped out of the elevator). The floor was also slippery. We thought it had just been cleaned, so we dropped off our luggage and headed out. When we returned to the hotel after 10 PM, the smell was still very strong. Even with the AC on full blast and the windows open, it didn't help, and the floor was still slippery. We called the front desk, but they said they couldn't switch our room (they couldn't even coordinate with the adjacent Ji Hotel, which apparently shares the same owner – terrible emergency response). They also said they'd bring an air purifier but never did. Later, they had a staff member mop the floor several times, and it took about two hours with the windows open for the smell to finally become less overwhelming!

Clean, hygienic, and safe, close to Guangzhou South Railway Station, and they even offer a shuttle service to the station.

The room was very spacious, and the staff were warm and attentive. When I entered the room, there was a faint smell of smoke, but the staff quickly helped me switch rooms. It's very convenient for taking the high-speed train near the South Station, with a shuttle service every half hour. You need to be downstairs 10 minutes beforehand; today I arrived just in time and almost didn't get a seat.

Awesome! Absolutely fantastic! Free tea and coffee, super clean, fresh, and comfortable. Simply amazing!

The room facilities are very new, with a simple and modern style. The breakfast is also good, and it's very close to Guangzhou South Railway Station (high-speed rail station). There's a free shuttle bus service to and from the high-speed rail station, which is excellent. I'll definitely stay here whenever I need to catch an early high-speed train in the future.

Due to a typhoon, my high-speed train was canceled, leaving me stranded at the South Station. I blindly picked Hanting, and to my surprise, amidst my exhaustion, I found warm and comfortable rest here. The bedding and pillows were incredibly comfortable; my mom, who usually has trouble sleeping, raved about them. The twin room was spacious and even had a two-person seating area, perfect for dining together. There was also a designated spot for luggage. This wonderful environment truly washed away the fatigue of being stranded. Moreover, they offer a free shuttle service. Even when I accidentally left something behind, I called them, and they immediately arranged for a shuttle to pick me up at the South Station and then dropped me back off there. I feel the value for money is truly outstanding. After a great night's sleep, I was ready to start fresh! Thank you, Hanting!

The room was clean and tidy, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. If you're coming from the high-speed rail station, you can contact them in advance for a free pick-up service. I'd definitely be willing to stay here again next time I visit. Highly recommended! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I got an upgraded room, which was really spacious. Aside from the lower table and sofa perfect for reading, there was also a high table specifically for working or eating takeout. The windows were large too. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. This Hanting hotel feels quite new and is definitely one of the best quality Hanting hotels I've stayed at.

When I'm at Guangzhou South Station, Hanting Hotel Guangzhou South Station is always my top choice on Trip.com. As soon as I walked in, the front desk lady warmly greeted us and helped us check in. She also informed us that we could book the hotel's shuttle bus to the high-speed rail station for the next morning. The hotel is newly renovated and opened in February, with no unpleasant odors at all. It feels spacious, bright, and comfortable, and the hygiene is excellent. The breakfast offers a rich variety of options, and the surrounding environment is great. Five-star rating!
