Staycity Aparthotels Venice Mestre

This is a fantastic hotel! The front desk staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home. I didn't experience any of the discrimination towards Asians that some previous reviews mentioned. The facilities are great; there's a large Jiajiayue supermarket just 200 meters after crossing under the bridge, where you can buy fruits, vegetables, yogurt, and even pre-baked pizzas and bread. The hotel provides amenities like an induction cooker, oven, and utensils, which is really convenient for guests to heat up their own food! Although the room was close to the railway, the soundproofing was quite good and didn't disturb my rest. Plus, there were hardly any trains passing after 11 PM. Transportation is also very convenient; you can walk about 10 minutes from Mestre train station or take one stop on bus route 2. To get to the main island of Venice, you can also take bus route 2, which only takes about fifteen minutes to reach Piazzale Roma. The only minor drawback is that adjusting the air conditioning fan speed is a bit tricky, and I felt a little cold in the middle of the night.

Great location, very convenient, and the facilities and service are excellent. You absolutely *have* to try the delicious focaccia downstairs! However, Italy gets incredibly hot, so I wouldn't recommend visiting in the summer.

Excellent stay! We loved that we could cook, and it's super close to the supermarket. Getting around by public transport was also very convenient. Facilities: Everything is new and in great condition. Cleanliness: Spotless. Environment: A lovely surrounding area. Service: The staff understood Chinese, so communication was easy and good.

You can go directly to the island of Venice by scanning the hotel's QR code, so there's no extra island tax to pay. The location is excellent, with a McDonald's and a large supermarket nearby. The room is spacious and very clean.

This apartment hotel is perfect for families traveling together. The hotel itself is new and modern, and the rooms come with their own simple kitchenettes, complete with a fridge, microwave, and a full set of kitchenware. This allows you to buy ingredients and cook simple meals, which is incredibly practical for long trips. It's within walking distance of Mestre train station, making it easy to take a short train ride to and from Venice main island. There are also large supermarkets and restaurants within walking distance, making it convenient to stock up on supplies. The ground floor has a self-service laundry room and a small gym, which is great for long-term stays. Room soundproofing is decent, the air conditioning is stable, and there's plenty of storage space.

Traveling with teenagers, I chose this hotel specifically for its sofa bed, which was perfect. Its proximity to Mestre train station is a huge plus, and having a massive supermarket nearby was incredibly convenient. The location is excellent. The air conditioning was very effective in summer, actually a bit too cold! Making up the sofa bed wasn't difficult at all, and all the bedding was provided and complete. Overall, a great experience and excellent value for money.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel. The cleanliness definitely doesn't meet four-star standards. There were unknown stains on the bathroom walls that hadn't been cleaned, and dust was everywhere, clearly indicating that the housekeeping wasn't up to par. After I reported the issue to the front desk, they offered to re-clean the room, but then I found unknown stains on the bed sheets and shower curtain. The breakfast selection was also very limited, and the staff's service attitude was just mediocre.
