NH Collection Berlin Mitte Friedrichstrasse

This hotel is super convenient, just one stop from the central station and located in the Mitte district. It's right across from the tram and subway station entrance. I also appreciated having a refrigerator. However, the lighting in the room was poor, making it dark at night.

This was the best accommodation, satisfying in every aspect: location, cleanliness, and service. Although the location might seem a bit far from the central station, Berlin's subway system is so well-connected that it wasn't an issue at all. The hotel offers laundry and drying services. The bathroom was spotless with no odors whatsoever. Excellent value for money.

Pros: The location is fantastic, just a stone's throw from the subway station. The Parliament building, Humboldt University, Museum Island, and more are all within walking distance. There are also supermarkets and restaurants nearby, making it super convenient for shopping and dining. The front desk staff was very professional and answered all our questions. Cons: The room cleanliness seemed fine at first glance, but there were some issues with the details. We had to check the minibar upon entering the room to see if any packages had been opened. Also, the toilet paper dispenser in the bathroom had tissues stuffed inside, and we weren't sure if they were clean... Other: You'll need a credit card for check-in, and a 50 euro deposit will be authorized.

The hotel's location is fantastic, super close to the train station, and the subway entrance is right outside. Plus, many attractions are within walking distance. I was very happy they upgraded my room for free. The breakfast was also excellent; I hadn't originally booked it but decided to add it on.

I stayed here for a business trip before, and I found the transportation nearby to be very convenient, so I chose this hotel again for my free-and-easy trip this time. It's just one stop away from Central Station, and you can walk to Museum Island in about 15-20 minutes. There are also many eateries nearby, with Aldi, DM, City Supermarket, McDonald's, and Starbucks all within 100 meters of the hotel, which is super convenient.

The location is fantastic, very convenient for getting around from what feels like the center of the universe. It can be quite noisy on the side facing the railway tracks when trains pass by. The service was good; they proactively brought a heater when it got too cold. The facilities are a bit old, but the excellent location makes up for it.
