Swiss-Grand Beach Resort Kuantan

Room was new and clean, with a spacious balcony to dry the swimsuits. The beach was clean too. Family-friendly resort. But there was a used diaper right at the kids pool on our first day :[ Towels facility is capped at 3 towels maximum per room, there were 4 of us (2 adults, 2 young kids). Immediate payment for pool side F&B, no option to charge to room bill.

1★ – NOT RECOMMENDED We had a very disappointing experience during our 3-night stay. What was meant to be a relaxing vacation ended up being completely chaos . BREAKFAST: don’t buy in advance! The breakfast was a major letdown. For the first 2 days, the spread was extremely limited because we think the hotel prioritised in house event lunch and dinner setups (they told there will be a major event so they are busy). Only on the 3rd day did they provide a proper breakfast, which clearly shows inconsistency. Charging RM80++ per person for such poor quality is unacceptable. To make matters worse, there were flies all over the food and hygiene standards were very poor. FACILITIES: Facilities were also misleading. The Jacuzzi was closed for renovation and the spa was not operational, yet the booking stated that all facilities were available. This feels like false information given to guests. RECEPTION: Service was equally disappointing. The reception staff were rude and showed no empathy. After a long 5-hour drive with my family, we requested to park temporarily near the entrance, but they refused and insisted we park far away in an open area. There was zero consideration for guests. NO EMPATHY: Despite providing full evidence, the hotel management refused any compensation. Thankfully, Trip.com customer support was responsive and tried to assist. Overall, based on our experience, this resort is not recommended at all… for us (2 adults and 2 kids).

Wonderful 3D2N Family Stay at Swiss-Grand Hotel, Kuantan We recently enjoyed a 3D2N family vacation at Swiss‑Grand Hotel Kuantan, and it was truly a memorable and relaxing experience for all of us. From the moment we arrived, the check-in process was smooth and welcoming. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to assist with a warm smile, which made us feel comfortable right away. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained — perfect for a family stay. We especially loved the beautiful sea view and the calming sound of the waves, which created a peaceful atmosphere throughout our trip. Housekeeping services were excellent and consistent during our stay. One of the highlights was the hotel’s facilities. The swimming pool was a big hit with the kids, while the direct beach access allowed us to enjoy relaxing walks and family bonding time by the sea. The environment was safe and family-friendly. Breakfast was another pleasant surprise, offering a wide variety of local and international dishes. Everything was fresh and delicious, with plenty of options suitable for both adults and children. Overall, our stay was comfortable, enjoyable, and stress-free. This hotel is highly recommended for families looking for a relaxing seaside getaway in Kuantan. The best hotel in Balok, Quite pricey but worth every penny. Recommended for comfort

The place is very instagrammable and the staffs are very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately the weather was bad, it was raining all day so we could not enjoy the beach view. The room is very comfortable and the cleanliness is a top-notch 👌🏼 overall it was a great stay, just the minus of the weather which i couldnt spend time enjoying the beach or sunset/sunrise. There are many restaurants nearby the hotel, so it was really easy if you are looking for places to eat besides the hotel.

Spent 3 days and 2 nights here and absolutely loved every moment. The room was comfortable and elegant, the breakfast was amazing, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Everything felt premium and well taken care of. I would definitely come back again!
