▪️ Pros Excellent location in Suzhou Creek, panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows with river views. The 47th-floor terrace bar offers amazing night views for photos. Full set of Bvlgari White Tea amenities, and butler service is promptly responsive. The century-old General Chamber of Commerce building boasts a strong retro Italian design vibe. ▪️ Cons Having been open for several years, some room facilities show slight signs of aging, with loose panels. Breakfast selection is limited, and the food quality is average. The basic city-view rooms don't offer river views; it's best to prioritize booking a room with a view. Overall, it's suitable for a special experience or checking in for the atmosphere, with the focus on enjoying the night views and luxurious ambiance.

Initially, I wasn't thrilled about staying here after seeing the gym. However, I heard the spa was good and it was close to a few restaurants we'd booked, so we decided to go for it. The river view was also quite decent. But seriously, is the service team outsourced or something? Everyone seemed so unenthusiastic (not sure why they're so aloof 🤷🏻‍♀️), and I even had to go downstairs myself to pick up food deliveries. 😅 Breakfast was okay; my partner said the Chinese options were better. They specifically praised the tea-marinated eggs and the beef in the beef noodles. The New York set allowed for scrambled eggs, which worked out well since we're pure protein eaters. 😅 The mini-bar items were generally on the pricier side. They delivered cake daily, and we even received luggage tags when we checked out. The gym… well, I'd say about 90% of guests don't use it, and the remaining 9% go to the pool for photos. I guess I'm the only one genuinely trying to burn fat. 🥲 The treadmills are ancient Technogym models, seriously vintage! Plus, the treadmills are placed way too close to the wall; I kept feeling like I was about to hit it during my runs, can I even say that? 🤐 And the gym was freezing cold, even adjusting the AC didn't help much. Congrats to me for setting a new personal best for a 10km fasted run in sub-zero conditions! 🥲 The green apples were quite tasty. Apart from that, the spa is definitely the most commendable! My partner and I went every day. 🥰 Both the facial and Chinese massage treatments were excellent!

Unlike Amanyangyun, Bulgari's luxury is backed by trendy flair – ostentatious and bright, proud yet indulgent. The attention to detail truly stands out among Shanghai's top luxury hotels. The breakfast maple syrup, full-flavored and mellow, left the deepest impression. Service across different departments was balanced and consistent, with a special shout-out to Jack from concierge.

The hygiene was excellent, and I particularly enjoyed the swimming pool and sauna. Breakfast service was great. Whenever I needed anything, I'd just contact my dedicated concierge, Joanna, who was incredibly enthusiastic. She responded quickly and resolved issues right away. Overall, it was a very good experience.

The view from the window was absolutely stunning and made me feel so relaxed, like I was truly on vacation. I also appreciated the unique shoe care service. The hotel's luggage tag arrangement was a thoughtful touch.

Staying at the Bvlgari Hotel Shanghai was an absolute treat. The location is superb and the views are incredible. The room's decor was top-notch, and my entire stay was incredibly comfortable. A special thanks to Jack from the concierge for his attentive and thoughtful service. I'll definitely be back!

We chose the Bvlgari Hotel for one of the most important anniversaries in our lives, and it truly became a brilliant page in our memories. Our heartfelt thanks go to Rainie for her meticulous arrangements, from the surprise room upgrade and the delightful chocolate cake, to the beautiful fresh flowers Rainie specially prepared for us, and the anniversary room decoration. Every thoughtful gesture made us feel truly cherished. The Bvlgari Hotel also thoughtfully prepared personalized luggage tags engraved with our names. Rainie even reminded us that 24-hour breakfast could be delivered to our room – wow, that's fantastic! This time, we tried both the Shanghai and New York style breakfasts, and both were delicious and exquisitely presented 👍. When we checked out, Rainie even thoughtfully gave us a gift... This consistently warm service moved us deeply. We look forward to returning and seeing the amazing Rainie again... 👍👍👍

Service: The service was impeccable, providing an excellent emotional experience even before check-in. The view from the window was great, and they provided many complimentary items. The driver who took us to the station drove very smoothly. Cleanliness: There were some spots on the window, which unfortunately affected the quality of outdoor photos. Also, I was a bit uncomfortable with the restaurant cutlery being placed directly on the table. Environment: It's a quiet oasis in a bustling area, very close to Suzhou Creek and the Postal Museum. Facilities: Decent. Breakfast was just average. Additionally, it would be better if the drinks and snacks in the room had clearer labels indicating whether they were complimentary or chargeable. Overall, I found it a bit overpriced, neither particularly good nor bad.
