Sonesta Select Newark Christiana Mall

Upon arriving we had to wait atleast 20 minutes to check in because of low staff to customer ratio. The floor were we were staying was extremely noisy. When checking the room I did notice the sheets had some type of stain on it on the pillow linings & the bathtub was disgustingly dirty. The bathtub had what seemed like ***** hair all over the walls and around the tub. I let the front desk know about these issues to which she told me she would not be able to do anything considering I had paid for the room ahead of time. I was so upset and just wanted to leave, I wish I could say nicer things about this stay considering it was a nice area but the hotel itself was a 2/10

Hotel is old but the room was clean. The carpets needed to be shampooed in the rooms and hallway. There was a musty smell in my room.

Could not turn the shower on or off. Staff had to come in and pull really hard because it was stripped

Check in was easy and the front desk staff was helpful. The room was neat and clean. No complaints!

Great for the family, my room had little candy/ crumbs on the floor near the desk, but other than that, everything was fine.

Room walls were dusty, hair was on the bathroom floor and you could hear people from other rooms talking loudly.

Everything was perfect but they didn’t have a kitchen to be able to take the breakfast

Everything was decent except when we were trying to ready for work and had no water for 3 hours
