Yangshuo Yuyuan Resort （Shili Gallery &Yulong River）

Choosing this hotel and staying for two consecutive nights was the smartest decision of my trip. Definitely pick Building 1 or 6, as the views from the windows are absolutely stunning. The butler gave me the room with the second-best view in the hotel – the best one had guests extending their stay. The view from the huge floor-to-ceiling windows was truly spectacular! The room itself was also super spacious, with everything you could need! There was a wardrobe, hangers, a fridge, and a super long desk behind the bed, perfect for snacks, selfies, or even setting up a DJI drone. The bathroom was also incredibly large; you can imagine how big it was when I tell you I could open both my suitcases in there! It made getting clothes in and out super convenient. I took a video of the room when checking in, but didn't import it to my phone, so I don't have any photos. I also recommend checking out other buildings; there are many photo spots that are perfect for Instagram! I took tons of pictures, and even rainy weather didn't stop me from getting great shots. The complimentary hotel photography session didn't quite match my desired 'fishermen singing at dusk' vibe, so I booked the shoot wearing my own clothes. I got 3 retouched photos without paying anything, and the staff were still very pleasant! The only thing is, when I looked closely at home, one of the photos wasn't high-resolution, and when I messaged them about it, they didn't reply. The cormorant fishing performance was amazing – the cormorants dive underwater to catch fish, and they're incredibly skilled! They caught fish very quickly after entering the water! It's that ancient method, and while it looks a bit cruel, the fish they catch are ultimately fed to them. After the performance, you can queue up for a free photo opportunity! The butler service was also excellent! Highly recommended!

【Location】Overall, it's quite ideal. Although you have to go through a small village, it's not far from the main street, and it's also not too far to see the 'Impression Sanjie Liu' show. Taxis are very convenient. 【Environment】The hotel is surrounded by mountains, right by the Yulong River, with large grassy areas. The whole place is lush and green, very pleasing to the eye, and the air quality is excellent. 【Breakfast】The variety isn't super extensive, but it's sufficient, and the ingredients are fresh. The Guilin rice noodles are delicious, refreshing and flavorful. The only minor drawback is the coffee; the espresso shots were tiny, I had to get several refills, and the strength was a bit lacking. Also, there was a limited selection of fruits and juices. 【Facilities】The self-service laundry room is fantastic, fully equipped with detergent, disinfectant, and dryers, making it very convenient to use. 【Service】The staff are all very friendly, always smiling and have a relaxed vibe.

Booked a two-night, three-day stay for a family vacation with my elderly parents and kids. We absolutely loved this hotel! My parents had plenty of space to walk around and enjoy the scenery. The kids could swim, feed animals, go fishing, do crafts, and play in the ball pit, keeping them so busy they barely had time to look at their phones. Most of our time was spent enjoying the hotel's facilities, and we could see the mountains and water right from our room's balcony. It's also conveniently located near Wanjing Wharf, just a short Didi ride away, where you can take a bamboo raft for 5-8 people. There are electric scooters for rent right behind the hotel, and I took my mom on two rides along the Ten-Mile Gallery. The hotel restaurant was excellent too; the kids insisted on eating there for every meal.

Facilities: The hotel offers many parent-child activities and great play areas. The only minor inconvenience was the lack of a close-up vanity mirror, which would make it perfect if added. Hygiene: Good, and I saw staff cleaning the pool in the mornings. Environment: Absolutely stunning! Our room window overlooked a large lawn and mountain views. Service: Enthusiastic.

The overall environment is pretty good. It's right by the Yulong River, and you can even see the artificial bamboo rafts of Yulong Ke next door. There are three swimming pools and a large lawn. They also offer animal feeding, cormorant fishing shows, and a variety of indoor activities. However, the basic condition of the hotel rooms is just average. The hotel's cafeteria is not the best, but certainly not the worst either. Also, it's over 25 kilometers from Yangshuo Station and many popular photo spots.

Pros: The facilities are excellent, the rooms are spacious, the interior design is very comfortable, and the cleanliness is superb. The hotel offers a wide range of activities, which is a great bonus. The customer service is fantastic; they even contacted me before check-in to offer assistance. Cons: The breakfast was a bit disappointing. The ingredients and taste were quite average. Overall: Still a very good stay.

This family-friendly hotel was the highlight of our trip to Guizhou and Guangxi. In an area where facilities are generally lacking, this hotel offers comprehensive amenities, especially outstanding and free kids' activities – what a pleasant surprise! We originally planned to relax in Yangshuo, but my kids kept dragging me to all the activities, so there was no lying around at all... We watched the cormorant fishing show three days in a row, and then there was the petting zoo with surprisingly 'hardcore' animals like goats and sika deer, all very friendly and gentle. Afterward, we could go archery, play football on the big lawn, or swim in the pool. If it was too hot, there were also two indoor soft play areas. In the afternoon, there were craft activities and cotton candy making, and in the evening, bedtime desserts – truly abundant! Plus, the butler provided information on nearby attractions, especially cycling routes, which was incredibly thoughtful. On a side note, there's a bike rental shop just 1 meter outside the hotel, almost like our own garage – pick up a bike when you leave, drop it off when you return, so incredibly convenient! Not only were the kids happy, but the seniors also appreciated the convenient laundry room. The mini-bar provided daily iced drinks and Wanglaoji herbal tea, which was a lifesaver in the scorching heat. The food was delicious, and we ordered lunch twice; compared to the overall dining scene in Yangshuo, it was consistently high quality and, most importantly, super convenient. Another unexpected surprise was the hotel's travel photography service, which included costume changes – very quick and efficient, definitely worth trying! The staff were all very friendly and proactive. All in all, it was a 💯 experience!

I stayed one night in Building 1 and another in Building 6. The views from both rooms were absolutely stunning. The hotel staff were all very friendly, and my kids loved the three pools, going for a swim every day. It was also really convenient to get to the bamboo rafting; we just rented a scooter from right outside the hotel.

Stayed two nights in Yangshuo, and this hotel gets a huge thumbs up! It's super family-friendly, all the staff are warm and attentive, and there are tons of activities for kids. The big lawn and pool kept both the children and the elderly happy. The hotel food was also good, and ordering takeout was convenient (I had traditional sweet soup for two days straight, so satisfying!). Waking up and playing amidst all the greenery, it was green everywhere I looked!
