We booked rather late cos we decided to visit Venice randomly. Our trains were all delayed so we arrived around 11pm and the man in the reception was extremely helpful and friendly who showed us to the room and told us everything about it. The room is clean and full of warm atmosphere, they even placed a welcome card and sweets on the table. We left very early in the morning and dropped the bags in the reception. The girl who’s capable of speaking mandarin was really nice too. She gave us clear guides to the bus station and her advices were really helpful. The only bad thing was I got bite by the mosquito in winter lol…I guess it was the rainy weather. Anyway It’s worthy to pay a visit, won’t regret it.

Upon check-in I was told I had a room in the “annex.” It turns out it was just an entrance on the side of the building - no big deal! The room was immaculately clean and perfectly fine for what I needed. The gentleman who checked me in took me to the room, explained about the plethora of keys needed to enter the different doors, and showed me how to use the air con.  The room has few amenities and was small, but slightly better than I expected, to be honest. There were slippers and a nice shower.  The location was great - very short walk everywhere.  I actually tried to extend my stay but the hotel was sold out for the next 2 days. I would definitely stay again.

The hotel is superb. I didn't even expect it to be so good: professional staff, excellent linens, bed, bottles of water, a welcome gift (nuts and chocolate), slippers, and a robe. The shower has good water pressure, so you don't have to wait for hot water; it comes right away. Great location. I recommend it.

The hotel is 100 meters from Piazza San Marco (enter through the archway through the Procuratie Vecchie). It's small, cozy, clean, and not overly dated. My room overlooked the square, offering plenty of air and red tiled floors. New plumbing, a comfortable bed, adjustable air conditioning, and a tea station are available. You can borrow a map and an umbrella if needed. The hotel is on the high second floor, reached by a narrow staircase. There is no elevator.

The location is good, very close to the square, but the bathroom is small and the house is old. There is no view outside the window, only the wall of the opposite house.

The staff was very kind and helped us plan the next day's travels together. I was also happy with the free cookies! There is no elevator, so it may be a bit tiring for people with large luggage.
