Legendale Hotel Beijing

Overall, it was okay, but I have to complain about the Executive Lounge's happy hour. I don't know if it's because fewer people booked suites during the Chinese New Year, but they made the lounge dinner so meager. There was nothing substantial, just cold dishes, it was unappetizing, and the variety was poor. I wouldn't say the decor is 'old and peeling,' some cracks are acceptable. I hope they improve; otherwise, relying solely on nostalgia won't keep this hotel going much longer.

The room was spacious and had a very French, historical feel to it, with paintings that added a lot of charm. I absolutely loved the circular, open-atrium design of the lobby – it was beautiful and grand. My favorite part was the sauna in the fitness center.

Facilities: No smart toilet, the TV is quite old and doesn't support screen mirroring. Cleanliness: Excellent, cleaned daily and very tidy. Environment: Very satisfying, strong Spring Festival atmosphere. The room is large and soundproof, very quiet. Service: Great. At first, I found the mattress too soft, but they kindly added a firm coir mattress for free, and I slept very comfortably.

The Beijing Legendale Hotel truly is a hidden gem in the city center, boasting a magnificent European palace style! The lobby's high-domed ceilings and gilded decorations create an incredibly grand atmosphere, perfect for photos. Its location is superb, situated on Jinbao Street, close to Wangfujing and Tiananmen Square, making transportation a breeze. The rooms are spacious and elegant, with soft, comfortable bedding. The bathrooms are equipped with L'Occitane products, ensuring quality. The service is professional and attentive; check-in was efficient, and the staff were warm and polite. Breakfast is varied and delicious, offering both Western and Chinese options. Despite being in a bustling area, it's remarkably quiet, with excellent soundproofing, ensuring a fantastic night's sleep. The facilities are well-maintained, and every detail exudes luxury. Staying here in Beijing offers both a sense of occasion and exceptional comfort. Highly recommended!

The only highlight of this hotel is its lobby and hallways, but the stay itself was a terrible experience. The TV was a small LCD screen and couldn't cast content; the toilet in the bathroom was an old model; the duvet was non-breathable; and the room was incredibly hot, so we ended up turning on the AC. I definitely wouldn't recommend staying here just to take pictures because the hotel looks nice.
