What a pleasant surprise this hotel was! It's so close to all the main attractions yet incredibly quiet, with fewer crowds around. Plus, it's just a short walk to both bus stops and the subway, making transportation a breeze. The rooms are great too, and they even have underfloor heating. We were traveling with our baby, so of course we chose to stay near Qianmen! The location is fantastic, very close to Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, the National Museum, and the Temple of Heaven. The environment is also great, and there's a wide variety of breakfast options. Most importantly, it's very comfortable, clean, and gets plenty of sunshine.

The hotel environment is really nice and peaceful. The lobby manager and staff were very welcoming. Right next to it is a pedestrian overpass leading to small alleyways with tons of delicious food. The old Beijing skewers are incredibly fragrant, and the 'baodu fen' (tripe noodles) is absolutely fantastic – highly recommended!
