Our stay at Velassaru Maldives was absolutely fantastic! The island's lagoon views are unbeatable, with the gradual transition of the jelly-blue ocean creating stunning photo opportunities everywhere you look. Our overwater villa was spacious and comfortable, and the terrace had direct access to the sea. The check-in service was thoughtful and impeccable. The only minor drawback was the main restaurant's dinner buffet, which was a bit overpriced and offered average value for money. We'd recommend dining at the à la carte restaurants instead.

Everything was perfect. The hotel itself isn't super new, but that's not a big deal. We were met at the airport and escorted to the hotel. The service was incredibly attentive, and housekeeping came twice a day. The food at the restaurants was delicious, and the beaches were immaculate. The best spot for swimming is opposite the pool and near the spa center. I almost cried when we had to leave.

It was just a short speedboat ride from the airport, and the pick-up transfer was on time. Love their services and the vibes of the island, I felt really recharged after the trip. They went extra miles for providing late check out (which we truly appreciate) given our late night flight back home. We have stayed at their water villa (best decision ever!!), amazing sea view. We'll definitely come back again. Thank you, team Velassaru, for such an amazing experience ❤️
