Comfortable bed and prime location, just next to the lake side and a convenient store. The room was big enough to move around freely. Could see part of the fireworks from the window. Just the headboard was a bit dusty and the charging areas weren’t the most convenient.

Very good hot spring hotel, i was enjoy the stay.. we can see the the firework direct from our room.. expecting to see the mount yotei from the room early in the morning, but it was covered by cloud..

The views from our tatami room facing the lake were breathtaking, and the huge windows made the fireworks display look even more impressive. The building itself is quite old and some of the furniture shows some wear and tear. However, the room and common areas were clean. Loved the combination cave/outdoor bath area ＜3 Also really appreciated the mini treasure hunts put on by both the hotel and the local tourism agency - i loved that it encouraged me to explore the different hand/foot baths around the area and the small snacks as rewards 😁 (pokemon lovers should also keep an eye out for a special spot!) Surrounding area has some restaurants, but need to be aware of opening days/times (hotel helpfully has a map of these places!) Overall it was a nice relaxing experience enjoying nature and onsens!

The facilities are old and the room had a moldy smell. Although it was a lake-view room, the view from the first and second floors was very poor. The location is excellent, right in the middle of the lake path. For your reference, the corresponding Donan Bus stop is Sakuracho.

Very beautiful view from our lake side view room. Breathtaking! The cleanliness is not the best, but it is understandable as it is cheaper compared to other hotel options. Breakfast was a lot of pickled items but there are options.

Loved the on-site onsens. Loved the spacious rooms, facing the lake. Loved the view of the sunset and of the calm lake in the morning. Loved the location by the Promenade. Loved the set dinner and buffet breakfast.

Booked the lake view room, able to see the fireworks directly from the room. Room is very spacious, 2 futon + 2 western bed provided. You may take this room, if you would to experience the futon, however, are unsure if you can get used to it. Breakfast is had a lot of varieties of food, however, the breakfast ended a little earlier (9am - last entrance). Close at 9.30pm. Dinner - last call at 8pm, start from 6pm - 8pm (set meal). Contain rice/raw salmon,fish/vegetables/etc. Mama didn't really like the dinner as it served quite a lot of raw food. Indoor Onsen/Outdoor Onsen/ Cave Onsen available throughout the night. Great value for money.

Great location with direct lake views from the room. Just a heads-up, the hot spring tax is ¥400 per person, not the ¥200 stated on the booking. The duvet was a bit too thick and uncomfortable. The onsen itself was unique and definitely worth experiencing.
